ANKA-S can also be installed with that, well looks like the satcom BLOS variant still over the horizon, we're still not getting any contract related to military satellite anyway.....

If you want to shoot down Chinese balloons, the KF-21 can't get up to that altitude.
The KF-21's service ceiling hasn't been in the press yet, but I suspect it will be similar to that of the F/A-18E/F, which uses the same engine.
For reference, the service ceiling of the ROK Air Force F-15K is said to be around 19.5 kilometers.
But I don't know. It will have to be detected before it can be shot down, which will require upgrading the detection assets.
