Yes i aslo think this Anka 3 is small but when someone said will operate in Anadolu carrier than i understood .
Turkiye still dont have engines for more bigger drones so for now we will get Anka 3 with TF6000 engine , in future 1 engine of TFX can power bigger Anka 3 version long range deep strike bomber with hell of firepower kneeing alll enemy assets . 😍
Based on logic and the roadmap published by TAI this is rather a technology demonstrator and development product similar to X-47A. It is not clear whether this will turn into product as is, or whether Navy will be pleasant by operational characteristics of this version. Similar to X-47 project, it is logical to expect TAI to work on these (Anka-3/4) by blocks: A- Demonstrator, B- Product, C-Improved Product

X-47B was technically called a demonstrator as well, but to many other operators it was actually a product.

Also, not Anadolu but for the next ship (Whether it is called Trakya in continuation of the project with Navantia, or a new class to be built by assistance of UK). So the dimensions are not much of a concern.

On paper, any flying object is carrier capable.

Anka-3 , although not clearly defined in detail by TAI, by all intents and purposes seems to be an air to ground attack deep strike stealthy bomber drone.
It has a top air intake akin to B21 type stealth bombers. Currently it is most likely using an engine of Ukrainian origin. When TF6000 is ready it should be the engine that this plane will use.
TF-6000 should be able to power this drone to achieve decent subsonic speeds.
What TEI has to do now is to match Tusas’s performance and and start churning out engines one after the other for all the different platforms TAI is producing. We can’t depend on engines that US will sell to us. Besides in order to make good use of these beautiful planes, we need engines that are purpose built for them. Not some ”cheap” alternatives that will save the day.

What the scaled model flied with? With which turbojet? Would be awesome if TJ-90 or 300 (can't calculate which suits to the scaled model since i don't know which dimensionless parameter is used for scaling in aerial objects) adapted for the scaled model.

It could be a a great kamikaze drone as well (the scaled model), TAI should launch a spin-off company like Skunkworks to benefit from side products.

As far as I know, SSB has set a very strict domestic engine requirement. They did not allow foreign engines. They were also waiting for TEI. I do not know the type or model of the engine used. However, it was said that Anka-3 would fly much earlier if the engine condition were not present. I think it was a necessity rather than a choice for them to make scale models. Because unfortunately there is no turbofan running in the middle.

Are you implying that Anka 3’s first flight will be with a domestic engine I.e TF6000?

Now that we've seen it in real life, anybody want to guess what is what on top of the fuselage? What does the darker shade black rectangle do? In the model photo, it was circular.

What do we really know about Anka-3? Yes, it's a flying wing UCAV, specs we have is that it weighs 7 tons(MTOW?) and can go mach 0.7, well short of transonic area. Nothing so far on the dimensions I believe. It will be low observable as we can see but how will that be achieved? For one, on the top of the fuselage I don't see any serrated/saw tooth edges. Is this the design or just how the prototype will look?

No, I don't think the TF-6000 is ready yet. I think they flew it with a turbojet. UCAV is probably not stable enough to fly hundreds of times anyway. Therefore, if the turbofan did not come from Ukraine, it is more logical to think that it is flying with a turbojet.

I am not sure about çakır, but kuzgun turbojet (1,8 m long and 84 kg weight) will fit in internal weapon station. With 6-8 kuzgun tj in its internal station, mini cruise missiles having almost 250 km effective range, anka 3 will be a nightmare for ships, radars, sams, air/sea bases and mechanised/armoured brigades of the ennemy.

I wasn’t referring to the demonstrator but the prototype shown yesterday. It has not flown yet, right?

2x500 lb bomb payload is enough for its mission, I don’t know what some are expecting.

These wouldn’t be used on tank busting missions, or taking out enemy troop formations. It would be used on enemy radars and command centers.

Taking out the proverbial eyes of the enemy is far more important of a mission for this drone.

If i had time i would do it but, can anyone with image processing skills use these information to figure out the dimensions;
Each concrete slab should be about 4 meter x 4 meter.
The lines are parallel thus perspective can be figured out.

Thus combining these, instrinctively, i get 9-10 meters vs 6-7 meters for the dimensions.

Rectangular nozzles are better suited to stealth planes due to their better radar wave deflection parameters.
However rectangular nozzles can only have TVC in in one axis. So a plane like F35B has to have circular nozzle.

I think the anka 2 is just tb2 but with stealth design parameters. Not sure if capabilities are different?

i replied with engines looks a bit small and anil sahin blocked me wtf🤣
