I think it can be possible. If a pistol is broken it can be fixed. If the barrel is damaged a spare barrel can possibly be bought by a gunsmith and replaced. Well this is an unlikely scenario but a more likely scenario would be when you want a pistol to be custom configured for you. Let's say there is a pistol like the Canik Mete SF which comes with a 106,5mm barrel but you want it to be equipped with a threaded barrel which is 120mm long. There is an older model of Canik that comes with a barrel of this length which is the Canik TP9 Elite Combat, but you want that barrel to come with your new favorite pistol that is the Mete SF. So configuring your gun to your wishes should be possible, and I bet it is but I am not sure.
Seems a bit troublesome

of coz in This country many people dont obey law, etcmotobike drivers dont wear helmet.

Ruhsatlı silahlara sahip olanlar, aşağıda belirtilen şartlar çerçevesinde bu silahlarını tamir ettirebilirler.
b. Silahların parça değişikliği gerektiren tamiratlarında yukarıdaki bentte belirtildiği şekilde söz konusu silahlara ait ana parçaların yurt dışından temini Bakanlığın iznine tabidir. Seri numarasının bulunduğu ana parçalar üzerinde yapılması gerekli görülen değişiklik, kayıtlı bulunan seri numarası değiştirilen yeni parça üzerine ilgili Kriminal Polis Laboratuarında işlenerek kayıtlara geçmesi sağlanır.

Owners of licensed weapons can have these weapons repaired under the conditions stated below.

However, for the required repair or modification on the barrel, bolt, frame, extractor, fingernail, firing pin and mechanism head, which are the main and ballistic parts of pistols and rifles, the repairman with a gun repair license has a report prepared on this issue and submitted to the governorship. is applied. The Governorship sends this application with the weapon to the relevant Criminal Police / Gendarmerie Laboratory. Based on the report to be obtained from here, a repair or modification permit may be granted by the governorship.
b. For the repairs of weapons that require parts replacement, the supply of the main parts of the said weapons from abroad is subject to the permission of the Ministry, as stated in the above paragraph. Any change that is deemed necessary on the main parts with the serial number is processed on the new part with the registered serial number, and recorded in the relevant Criminal Police Laboratory.

I hear that some gun fanatics get gunsmithing license just to be able to work with his own gun.

Congratulatios to you for getting a gun permit. Your gun choice totally depends on your usage scenario and your hand size and strenght. Mete lines are designed for satisfying requirements of the Turkish military and police and to be affordable and are all 9mm caliber. Larger calibers have their use but are more expensive on the ammunition side.

Mainly because .45 is a bit quieter than 9mm

Tisaş and Sarsılmaz have bad reputation.
Canik is the most reliable handgun producer.

Then Stoeger cougar is reliable.

Currently prominent shotgun producer Ata arms makes Replicas of Beretta PX4. İ would really know about it.

And Girsan's 1911 and BHP replicas more reliable than Tisaş's.
I will see the newest price when I go to MKE (I still waiting the silah satın almak belgesi)

I actually like Canik but seems the price became a bit too high(maybe just the others maker didn't renew their website)

Also I prefer steel handguns so I am still considering.

BTW seems the only revolver sold in MKE is the SR38?Any others?

Girsan is Yavuz?Seems their 1911 two time pahalı than Tisaş's.

MKE website pistols section needs a remake; you can not filter in a smart way, still shows unavailable calibers when filtered. Also, some calibers that Turkish manufacturers are making are not sold on the website. We need better gun options in Türkiye.

Revolver just SR38, there is no other revolvers .

Girsan is not double priced! The more quality,so the more price!

For beginner level the first handgun must be Canik's polymer.

Canik's steel S120- which is cz75 clone - has good reputation.

I wonder why Canik didnt introduce S120 or C100 on their homepage.

The staff of Shooting center I went also suppurt CANIK.

So i think i will buy a Canik TP9/METE or Yavuz 1911

For Revolver,i will buy a Tayvan havali one.

We need to ask Canik if Mete SF and Mete SF Pro are coming or not.

The Canik price now
Why" siyah mat models"- which are written red color -are significantly cheaper? Are they sold just to security personnels? Civilians could buy these?

They are missing the ceracoat coating on top that makes their surface shiny and more durable. They only have nitrate coating over steel.
