    India UAV Programs

TASL should have been given complete orders so through orders of scale they are competitive in exports & more cheaper to supply to IA & maintainance. Not as if NIBE is Indian design. In some cases its good to have alternate supply & in some its not.

No need to compare. We need 10% growth. Give tax breaks to industries having base in india who invests in manufacturing. While electronics & semis manufacturing is concentrated, enclosures, mechanical panels etc are still inported, with our huge steel capacity we have the capacity to export lot...

I prefer the C390 as well. But it is on the hands on the decision makers. Embraer presents the best chance for Indian industry to indigenize & build over them. Even C295 doesnt give that opportunity. JV with Embraer should be also good opportunity for India to leapfrog, with civilian aircraft...

India Navy Nuclear Submarines (SSBN & SSN)

Again, dates arent being shared when they started sea trials generally. But even by Indian standards, SSBN induction has been quite faster.

India Navy Nuclear Submarines (SSBN & SSN)

I mentioned the capacity of all 4 SSBN or INs strategic weapons capability. Not for Arisudan. I am not sure regarding commissioning cos after INS Arihant & Aridhaman other subs commissioning went quite faster.

Emb have the best chance at winning but geopolitics may play out. And quite honestly C130 is not a bad one at all as well

It appears its 97 + 24 FOC aircraft’s future upgrades including trainers. From sources IOCs are very difficult to upgrade.

Indonesia Indonesian Air Force, Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara (TNI-AU)

Even India Defence media who runs circles around propspective orders, this news have taken everyone by surprise. It is a good replacement for Russian missiles. India has 250-300 in service with overall orders being 650 Mk1. Mk2 will ordered soon & Mk3 test firing is done. They were also deployed...

    India Navy Frigates

Impressive. IN will have 23 Frigates by end of 2028. And except 3, every frigate avg life would be less than 10 years. On Destroyers front, we have less no than S Korea & Japan.

Don’t think so. Our merchandise exports have plateaued. Since oil prices went down, our refinery exports have gone down in value. Thanks to IPhone exports, our overall exports haven’t contracted. Other sectors have faired poorly like textiles, leather & steel products. Automobiles & engineering...
