My apologize I meant no insult. It was mere an attempt to depict the situation or how it could develop.

I am somewhat aware of how Morocco hasn't allowed foreign forces bases on their soil. But I imagine it may not be so in the future.

In the end it actually boils down to how well your economy is doing and if you can avoid having to rely on ME oil money. It is any government or head of states duty to look out for the interests of the country and its people.

Best example of how bad it can go when you govern for too long is RTE and AKP. That is why the state institutions and old respectable diplomats are very important for a country. slow and steady is better than rushing ahead.
No problem bro. What do you mean by ME oil money? I guess you mean some of the gulf countries? Morocco have its independt foreign policy, and have not always been in perfect relations with gulf countries.

Looking at the situation all i suspect is going to happen is the white man is going to use your hatred of each other to extract benefits for themselves. The white man from the west will exploit the Moroccans, while the white man from the east will exploit the Algerians. Both sides will feel happy in seeing this support that will ultimately screw both nations.

Unless one side has the power to decisively on his own create facts on the ground that one doesn't need outside help and can't be curtailed from the other side getting outside help, then this conflict makes no sense. Its a lose lose situation for both of you.

Learn from the mess erdogan created in Syria, erdogan faced a much simpler issue. In the end we got America and Russia arming the same terrorists on our doorstep against us.

It is indeed silly these two neighbours have these deep issues with each other that have surfaced to this degree.

They should be brothers united by anti-colonial cause/legacy.

They both clearly have deep-suspicion/hostility of the French (while having French as kind of defacto second language still).
...yet this is strangely overrided by the same towards each other (at least large section of "patrician + gentry" do).

In Caspian report analysis and other large viewed videos on this topic, the regular people of both sides (in YT comments section) seem to agree this conflict is quite self-destructive in the end and that they should seek to put it behind and become partners and brothers for long term...

It is worth reading the YT comments to get larger picture of what people on both sides think past defence fora.

The normal people of the 2 nations see each other as brothers. It seems like majority, but i dont have any clear number for now. If algeria just stopped putting its nose in the sahara, and fueling the polisario with training, weapons etc. everything would be alright. We have more to gain, then to loose!

You said: "single French CSG could pretty much wiped out the entire North African navy and air forces."
This is not a video gave, child.
Forget France. Talk to us about your defeats against your Dutch and British masters instead.
Yes, I said pretty much most Asian and African countries can't match the Europeans, including Algerie and Indonesia. All will be wiped clean.:ROFLMAO:

A single french CSG really could handle the entire Southern Mediterranean aerial and naval might.

Algerians and Sahrawi are more brothers with Turks than the Moroccan monarchy, even tho we don't speak Turkish.
Moroccan monarchy was created by France in 1912,
Algeria won the 7 years war against France in 1962 and gained its independence, just after 1 year in 1963 Moroccan monarchy attacked Algeria and tryed to steal thier lands.
In 1975 after Wester Saraha kicked Spain, Moroccan monarchy did the same thing, they attacked and occupied them, you tell me those our brothers !?

Something my Turkish brothers need to know
Morocco is NOT Fas
Morocco is the Emirate of Marrakesh, founded by the French Marshal Hubert Lyautey in 1912
You always insult morocco and moroccans. But its good that you took up the topic about hubert lyautey. I will share a video of algeria under. However i want to say that i dont think the majority of our algerian brothers support this support for france in the video i will link under. However im posting it because you keep running your mouth, and keep blindly praising algeria.

I am just talking people on the ground....just look at the longer history than just 19th - 20th century (which tend to make politics now).

You are cultural brothers clearly. (The Caspian report YT comments show that....and I have not seen north africans I know here in Canada to be so viscerally antagonist to each other like expressed in these ALG-MOR threads in this forum).

If deep divide has surfaced politically and in hearts and minds of powerful, the people of both sides must genuinely query that...and seek readdressal.

No one is asking to become brothers (in complete way) overnight again....but first steps require pragmatism and leave contentious issues when the countries are richer, developed and more mature.

Otherwise you are just throwing money and emotional energy at something that will leave you all stuck together at bottom because those two things are much better used to improve peaceful productive things for your societies.

You keep returning to pollute my threads with your Algeria-phobic comments.
When you present falsified historic facts in the Moroccan Armed Forces thread, you seem to always get away with it .
Plus, you come to the Algerian threads talking nonsense as if you owned the place.

I like the French, respect them for maintaining their influence in their former African colonies. Would very much like to ally with them against the Americans.

France is not what it used to be.
The French lost their influence even within their own country.
You came too late it seems.
Tu es venu trop tard.

The North Africa is very interesting place as They are all speak in same language, they all believe in same religion. What happened in the history so every one hates each other.

İ heard that there were some attempts to create" MAGRHEB " a new country and to unite Tunus, Algeria, Libya, Morocco.

Ottomans "my ancestors" also had responsibility in current situation.

Everyone dont hate each other. In fact majority of the nations love each other and see each other as brothers. We moroccans see especially our algerian brothers as twin brothers. We refer them as twin brothers in person to person, and from goverment to the ordinary people of algeria. However tensions have been since after colonial history of france in north africa
