So if I understand correct Akkuyu just became 100% Russian owned. How the hell did that happen. Either Turkey ran out of money and RTE had to sell it to get some more money he can waste or Something even worse. Turks are going to pay for a long time and Russia calculated the return on onvestment being a lot better than the joint ownership.

How this is even conceivable is beyond belief! Because of the damage caused by the infamous “Capitulations” in Ottoman times, our current constitution does not allow for foreign ownership of any industrial complex or company to be more than 49%.
If this is allowed and rights of ownership is given to the Russian State or Russian companies, that is “treasonous”. It is return to Capitulations.
People who have allowed this to happen will have to pay big time for treason.

-After 20 years russian leave plant unusable
-If for some reason strange Incidence happens in Plant .....Turkiye have to Suck it all the way........russian fabricate incidence and Turkiye clean the shit and Turkiye people will be affected
-What happening with Turkiye scientists, engineers etc. -> all of them are pushed aside

People who fell for FETO affiliated AK party cannot be reasoned with, they can only be deceived and manipulated. Trying to apply reason to these people is a waste of time. You have to manipulate them, the best way to do that is to come across as an Islamist and use the religion to twist their thoughts and ideas into a direction that is profitable.

So i would suggest anyone whose trying to wake up the sheep, instead focus on using islam to manipulate these same people to see the realities.

For me Turkiye government NOW have some few months before Taking a Brutal decision to Kick russians from Akku Plant and Agreement.
Russians already make brutal move by taking plant 100% ownership......But Final decision is on Turkiye side.

1. Money spent will be lost
2. Plant is not finished or russians already make sure that Turkiye can not rebuild plant -> Plant can be lost because will not function
3. russian already twisted Turkiye hand by pushing them to accept some bitter decisions. russians used Akku plant as threat that they will not continue with work............. So Turkiye government backed off from past meetings with russian governments.......

As far as I know, Akkuyu nuclear power plant has been completely financed by Russia; i-e, the Turkish govt havent even paid a single penny into building the power plant (ppl can correct me on this as Iam not 100% sure). Thus, RTE cant sell the plant since he doesnt have any shares at all within the plant. In fact, rn, Rosatom is searching for buyers to buy around 40-47% (no. Can be wrong but for sure they are looking for buyers to buy a decent chunk of the shares but not majority!) of the shares in order to regain some of the costs spent on building the nuclear power plant


This is why Iam confused. Why on earth did they do such things? Even if RTE lacked money, the govt doesnt have any shares in the first place to sell. Therefore, i think the cause isnt monetray but something else

Like Russia will stop relations with Türkiye and will not even fly a plane over Türkiye. Such a naive statement is yours. Turkish Russia relations will last forever and they can not play tricks risking Russian interests. They have to send their tourists somewhere don't they. Turkish scientist and engineers did no work on nuclear because Türkiye was invaded from inside by gangs like masons and FETÖ and nuclear technology was a no-go for Türkiye because of them. It is only now that we are raising our own nuclear scientists and it is with help from Russia.

Real question is why did they go with a Russian design when Russia has had its fair share of nuclear accidents.

Russia basically built a chernobyl in Turkiye if all hell goes to loose. Russians will kiss their asses goodbye and say deal with the radiation suckers.

Russia and Nuclear technology only ends up with stupid diasters. If there was one thing the Russians achieved was ruining the image of nuclear power.

Because in Australia the only thing that comes to peoples minds is Chernobyl. Hence why nuclear power will never come here as much as I try to tell people its a good alternative than to gas or coal.

And I’m pretty sure that in the future Russia will use the power plant as a leverage against Turkiye. Russian are crazy enough it would not be surprising if they provoke a catastrophe similar to Chernobyl in Turkiye.

Russians have shit safety standards.

Even if Russian nuclear power plants are better than chernobyl and other soviet designs. I still wont trust them with anything.

Im wondering how many shortcuts and bribes have taken place.

Because it is not just a matter of design, it is also about financing. Russia financed the plant themselves alone and will only sell electric power to Türkiye at an agreed price (9 cents). And there was no other contender who wanted to give the same offer as Russia.

They've got the plant contract to sell Türkiye electric power for 9 cents a kilowatt, what else do you want them to gain. Training of engineers was part of the deal.

Well a side from the treasonous deal. Let’s look at what could be achieved with the money gained. Could it be used in an operation. Though I believe the sale was due to incompetent economic management. And they’re going to continue this and. Burn through it in the new housing projects RTE announced to poor Turks who can’t afford to buy houses.

selling the house cheap without regard to balanced economy will drain the treasury, as we know it. As usual.
