I don’t see the point of using Hurjet in the Anadolu to be honest. And even if they manage to make it taking off the ship it will be with little to no payload at all. A bit like the Chinese right now.
When they say "Anadolu" don't take it for granted. They give it as a reference. These are all for "Trakya" but since there is no official project, yet, they are not naming it that way.

Guys it's for 99,9% safe that TCG Anadolu will never have Hürjet or any other manned aircraft on board, F-35 is gone, we don't even have a navalized Hürjet and i doubt that one F404 alone is certificated for naval use.

When TCG Anadolu carries 4-6 armed USVs (with AShM or torpedoes) in its well deck, it will be the subject of new articles in international circles, at least as much as, when the TB-3s take off from the ship. We are on the verge of a breakthrough in the USV field. Four different private shipyards, experinced in military ships or/both specialized in composite boats, are in a race to create four different product families in cooperation with the country's most important navionic/electronic system and military software companies. This competition will strengthen our global pionering in this field.

It is a truly capable platform and unlike sister ships in Spain and Australia, TN's and SSB's vision is to take this platform to a whole new level; TCG ANADOLU and its accompanying naval task force will be the first time a non-US actor has brought a major innovation to NATO's naval capabilities.

If this innovative approach of the Turkish navy is successful, Australia and Spain will follow this path. But more importantly, the effects of this will be seen in the North Pacific.

edit:

One thing should be given to credit and boldly underline, the future projections and planning activities of the Turkish navy are far above the other actors in the region. Unfortunately, we do not yet have a proper economic structure that can reveal the power of this mind much more clearly.

  • For the first time, a navy is studying on operating 50-60 (or even up to 100, according to İsmail Demir) tactical class and fixed-wing armed drones from a ship.
  • Armed USVs that are intended to act as wolf-packs in multiple numbers around mother-ship.
  • The same navy, is trying to adapt an unmanned turbofan fighter drone to a dock ship of this size.
  • Again, they are also studying on to adapt an aircraft, with a (possibly) STOBAR configuration which is currently being developed as a training jet, to a ship whose flight line has many limitations.

(And this ship is essentially an LHD, although it was clear that our voyage, which started as LPD, would come here. hehe.)

As a whole, these studies will be invaluable experiences on the way to the Turkish type aircraft carrier.
