Russian volunteers stated that they control the village of Gorkovskaya in the Belgorod region. The militants showed a video from the village. This is stated in the message of the Legion “Freedom of Russia”.
“The village of Gorkovskoye, Belgorod region, is under the control of Russian liberation forces. Excellent joint work between the volunteers of RUS and Ichkeria,” the message says.

The Next is Moldova?

Transnistria " so called republic" has been attacked.

❗️A military unit in Transnistria was attacked by a kamikaze drone, an explosion and a fire occurred.

The self-proclaimed “authorities” of Transnistria reported a drone attack on a military unit. As a result of the attack, the helicopter burned down, no one was injured.

Putin is coming to save?

Ukraine is running so low on ammunition that it will run out of air defence missiles to defend its cities by the end of the month, according to reports.

This is where Europe has to step up until USA passes their next batch of aid.

The following are used to intercept cruise missiles.

- Germany 🇩🇪, Greece 🇬🇷, Poland 🇵🇱, Romania 🇷🇴, Spain 🇪🇸, Sweden 🇸🇪 and the Netherlands 🇳🇱 all operate Patriot air defense systems featuring PAC 2 and PAC 3 missiles. Each of those countries can "dig deep" to send some extra missiles to Ukraine.

- Germany 🇩🇪, Greece 🇬🇷, Sweden 🇸🇪, Italy 🇮🇹 and Spain 🇪🇸 all use IRIS-T missiles that Ukraine needs for their SLS and SLM air defense systems

- France 🇫🇷 and Italy 🇮🇹 both use Aster 30 missiles for SAMP-T air defense systems that they've sent to Ukraine.

- Belgium 🇧🇪, Canada 🇨🇦, Czech Republic 🇨🇿, Finland 🇫🇮, Greece 🇬🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, The Netherlands 🇳🇱, Norway 🇳🇴, Poland 🇵🇱, Portugal 🇵🇹, Romania 🇷🇴, Sweden 🇸🇪 and Turkey 🇹🇷 all use AIM-9 sidewinder variants that Ukraine needs for their NASAMS air defense systems.

- Belgium 🇧🇪, Canada 🇨🇦, Denmark 🇩🇰, Czech Republic 🇨🇿, Germany 🇧🇪, Finland 🇫🇮, Greece 🇬🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, The Netherlands 🇳🇱, Portugal 🇵🇹, Norway 🇳🇴, Poland 🇵🇱, Romania 🇷🇴, Spain 🇪🇸, Turkey 🇹🇷, United Kingdom 🇬🇧 and Sweden 🇸🇪 all use AIM-120 AMRAAM variants that Ukraine needs for their NASAMS air defense systems.

- United Kingdom 🇬🇧 uses the ASRAAM missile that Ukraine launches from the launch vehicles that Britain supplied Ukraine earlier this year.

There are THOUSANDS of viable interceptors across Europe, it's simply about Europe having the will power to donate large quantities of them (say 500 of mixed variants) to keep air defense against cruise missiles and some balistic missiles, strong.

As we speak, Raytheon is maxing out it's production lines for AIM-120 AMRAAM and AIM-9X interceptors. They are now building 1200 AMRAAM and 2500 Sidewinders per year, many of which they will export to European allies. There is no reason that a healthy number of those missiles capable of intercepting Russian cruise missiles, can't go to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, 550 Patriot PAC-3 missiles are built each year, while 200+ PAC 2 missiles are built in Germany and hundreds more are built under license in Japan. Many of those missiles could be sent to Ukraine as well, to restock their Patriot systems.

I think Europe’s biggest mistake is focusing on defense (which is very expensive and ineffective) instead of focusing on offense (which is cheaper and more effective).

All those interceptor missiles you mentioned are extremely high tech and expensive, and they are produced in low quantities. On the other hand, long range drones like the Shaheds are extremely cheap and low tech, so they can be mass produced much easier.

Instead of wasting billions on expensive Patriot missiles, Europeans should build their own version of Shahed-like drone on the cheap and mass-produce it across the entire continent. They should build thosunsands of such drones every month (like they are building cars) and give them to Ukraine to launch continuous attacks on the Russian infrastracture on the Russian territory.

It would not only be much cheaper, but it would also force Russia to accept that losing the war is much better than continuing it.

On car production. EU (not counting UK) produces 11 million cars per year, UK adds close to an extra million. That's 1 million per month.
Can you imagine if just 1 artillery shell (not even a shahed-like drone) was produced for every car?

Putin wins the 2024 Russian presidential election by a long shot. Capturing 87% votes. Think about it, 87% 😐.

The dual success of defense of Zaporozhye and the capture of Avdiivka likely helped him win hearts (and votes).

To be honest Putin has stayed this long in power because the Russian people believe they would rather have this necessary evil man rather than another Gorbachov or Boris Yeltsin.

90's Russia is really not to distant for a lot of Russians who considered it to be a really dark time.

And he has so much support from all over the world :)

By the way, when Poland was under russian rule we also had "elections" 90 to 95% was a norm :)

Unsurprising tbh, Putin restored Russia from the jungle and lawlessness of Yeltsin into a stable democratic country. He also did what Yeltsin would never be able to : Enlarge Russia on the map.

If Yeltsin continues to rule Russia, Donbas would still be Ukraine by now and Russians couldn't buy new homes in Mariupol.

And he has so much support from all over the world :)

Democracy has nothing to do with what sore-ass foreign government thinks or wants, it's about what people in one country wants. And Putin clearly secure the will of the people by 87%. That's an astronomical percentage.

The world's largest democracy, India, congratulates Putin recently. SO....

stable democratic country? The country is under regular drone attack, the threat of forced conscription has caused thousands to flee the country, a few months ago it looked like a full blown rebellion was underway from a PMC, and now rebel groups are taking over entire border villages. Yep, sounds stable to me!

And for you to quote the 87% election result as if it was some completely normal honest and above board election is just laughable.

Footage of the Russian kamikaze drone Lancet-51 hitting an American-made Ukrainian Island-class patrol boat. The shooting was carried out in the Southern Bug in Nikolaev, 50 kilometers from the front line. The Island-class patrol boat was developed in 1985 and is used by the US Coast Guard; it is now being replaced by other boats. The patrol boat is armed with two 12.7 and 7.62 machine guns; a 25-mm 2M-3M anti-aircraft artillery mount was also installed in Ukraine. The boat is equipped with a radar and has a speed of up to 29 knots, with a crew of 16 people. As a result of the strike from the Lancet-51 drone, the boat did not receive any visible serious damage and continued to move.

So now that Putin has won the election, the war is good for another 6 years. What Ukraine and her Western allies will be doing for the next 6 years will determine if the Russian people elected Putin once more, so be careful.
