quite happy that private shipyards are able to make opv 90 class ships, but on the other hand it is a bit sad that of there is no air defense missile to protect ships and aircraft to the threat

DRU = Noahtu. Its the same shipyard. They changed the name. Its the same design.

Helipad+hangar, smokestack, missile area and bridge are modified.
Front of the bridge still same tho, no sigmanization?
How many unit ordered this time? Only 1 or same with previous? 2?
This nyicil procurement is a good approach for this KAB OPV, as the new batch can be improved (incremental improvement).
Though later the whole class will be very varied, atleast there is still commonality for the sewaco and other subsystems.

Will be good to have short range SAM but if not it is also ok. The purpose of the ship is for patrol, no need to protect other assets(provide air cover) so minimal weapons for self defense is enough.
Still the ship got double barelled CIWS at the back.
Why the ciws is located at the back?
When got attacked by missile, the ship just need to turn tail and run at full speed and defend with the CIWS, if the CIWS failed to shotdown the missile the only thing left is decoy if it also failed then wassalam...

PPA is also called opv and has air defense missiles, if the ship alone does not have air defense missiles, the army the air force doesn't have then what does this country protect its assets with?
The armed forces should really learn from the latest israel-iran conflict where the ballistic missile-owning country does not hesitate to destroy its strategic assets.
We can no longer think about the future because the future is currently being lived and seen as a lesson
