Great article! Update on the previous interview Mr Okumus of Tubitak-Sage !
Most interesting part was the Som-J being ready soon, and KGK (Turkish JSOW) being more widely used especially with laser seeker head.
SOM-J as we know has IIR seeker with data link and accepts continuous course corrections in flight making it capable to hit moving sea objects. KGK with laser seeker head will also be capable of doing this. From an F16, 110 km away a MK84 (2000lb bomb with ~430kg of explosives) can hit a ship, at a fraction of the cost of jet propelled anti ship missiles. That much explosive, will sink any sea vessel, short of an Aircraft Carrier.
Both these bombs have stealthy geometry and will be able to penetrate enemy positions virtually undetected.

As far as I know, there’s no Mk84 variant yet.

You are correct! There is a mk84 version with HGK however. As newer and more versions of KGK is coming it should only be a matter of time that a MK84 version of KGK is introduced as well.
I have a feeling that the reason they did not introduce the MK84 version of the KGK was because there is no JSOW over 1000lb weight. Since there was a 2000lb JDAM we had the MK84 HGK. As we introduce our own ammunition to our planes as US replicants we could not let the F16 think that it was releasing and guiding a 2000lb JSOW. Once we have ”Ozgur” access to the F16 computer, then we can reconfigure it as we please and it should be possible.

Ramjet is being tested..... more then 100 test al ready done...

Ramjet infrastructure completed, wind tunnel will be completed in few years. We are doing R&D for wind tunnel unlike other countries who buy ready testing infrastructure.

G-40 can be QUADPACKED.

Also it has cold launch and thrust diverting system which will significantly increase range by already turning missile towards its target and saves 0.5-1 seconds of engine burn.

Also they can develop it by the time TCG Istanbul enters service if it becomes an official project

We are working on a cost-effective A2A missile against drones. Small enough for Hurjet to carry like 10 of them.

Tubitak SAGE is developing cost-effective mini air to air missile. Turkish drones will engage other drones with these mini missiles.

Gökdoğan will exceed limits of 65km easily. 65km is required in this projects. Later, The missile will exceed 100+km.

Tozkoparan is an air defence missile program that is being developed as a part of Turkish layered air defence concept.

Ramjet and Scramjet programs all are a part of Turkish missile programs. They are not tech demonstrations

Akdoğan is the name of mini air to air missile program

We will see new guidance kits in IDEF2021 but the World will be shocked in IDEF23.
