we're talking about PRC right? I do not think they will have difficulty in identifying individuals to coopt, particularly as our officials are well known for their lust of "pelicin"

Aside from the big tickets (ie helo, MBT, SAM, etc) the core of AD reform/modernization projects are mostly low profile yet very strategic:
- Greater regu fire power (Carl Gustav licensing?).
- 4 billion small munition (joint venture Pindad x Qatar).
- New rifle (caracal? Joint venture Pindad x UAE).
- Command and Control system (Syctalys >> possibility for military satellte?)
- Rocket (more MLRS)
- SRBM (short range balistic missile, under 300 km) possibly from Roketsan?

I personally more fascinated with aforementioned AD procurement than AL/AU, since it will change the quality and capability of the big chunk of our personnels (army)

Their program is set to start up from next year. Well coincidence with Indo Defense

In my eyes .... SRBM and Cruise missile are the same stuff with a different entry deliverence approaches . But , hey .... That is only me
