These are both after Turkey take an hostile attitude against Israel starting from Mavi Marmara and Davos. Israel was more pro-Turkey. Akp just screwed the relations with them for nothing. It was making more sense geopolitically to cooperate with Israel, they are holding the strings of US politics.

If Turkey won't be too pro-Hamas maybe Israel would not be that hostile? Turkey harbor the head of terrorist having meetings with them which Israel considered as terrorists. We would be rightfully furious if they do the same with pkk. It would be harder if we didn't help Syria getting screwed.

When I was applying visa to move Czech Republic there was a quota for number of applicants which is 50. It makes 600 per year. There is a number of people a country can feed. Resources are not unlimited.
