TR F-16 Özgür | Hürkuş - Fighter Trainer Aircraft Projects

it is not like they are not attempting or using, most of the airborne AESA's used today are products of early 2000s, technology was limited and GaAs has limitations

TR F-16 Özgür | Hürkuş - Fighter Trainer Aircraft Projects

Power usage for both can be found from statements, i have found the 83's power usage from a Greek document and MURAD from DefenceTurkey. Also for other stats i have used statements again, tho i used older T/R modules from ASELSAN, it doesn't change much

Derived doesn't mean it is being used by them. Also SABR has lots of limitations, mainly power usage and cooling

Uhh we still didn't see antenna array of any of these (MURAD and SABR), but with information we have, it is clear that MURAD is better

No, receive NF dB, peak power and stuff related to these two are worse than the ones used in MURAD

AN/APG-83 is not used by 5th gen fighters. Also keep in mind that SABR only uses around 5kW of power while MURAD is specified at 30kW Difference is present and easy to see, GaN modules and separate cooling makes wonders (+algorithms and computers)

TR F-16 Özgür | Hürkuş - Fighter Trainer Aircraft Projects

MURAD has 1000+ T/R modules and 30W per module, maybe we can see a bit more powerful modules for TF-X systems (maybe 40-50W?)

When did they complete CDR tho? Holy wtf

    TR TF-X KAAN Fighter Jet

What gets overlooked for TF-X is power generation, according to Temel Kotil, it uses units that can generate 120kVA, given that TF-X is a twin engine fighter, it would use 2 of these. 240kVA is very good, more than what F-35 and F-22 generates today. This is essentially because of enormous...

    USA SPY-6 Family of Radars

I guess ASELSAN is also thinking of a factory like this, as Mr. Haluk mentioned a "lights-off factory" in an interview. and i think that we need a SPY-6 class radar for TF-2000 (also from what I have found, the biggest radar with 37 RMA's use around 1000kW of power, might be wrong) Tbh i...

TECHINT Western Electronics At The Heart Of Russia's War Machine

Other than those, they could have probably been carrying electronics too, interesting to see. And it gets more confusing because they used an Iranian aircraft, not Russian, hmm
