yes agree, while we don't need range more than 100m and SBR added more maneuverability in dense forest or build-up area, but i do still think that giving them more range rifle (SS2-V2A1) would be better on the long run (even though we need to equip them with optics and change training doctrine).

is it wise for us to equip them with SS2-V5A1? isn't 200 meter range kinda short and not adequate in this era. *note that 5.56 perform better in longer barrel than in the short one (also there 5.56 that were developed for short barrel but i dont think that we would invest in that). wouldn't it...

it also not easy to move workforce, if they need to expand/move they would need already experience workforce (preferably who already work in shipyard or offshore oil and gas) or need to train new workforce (which take time). that's not a lot of places in indonesia who got such high number of...

yes, kertajati is in perfect place for our future defence industry (Pindad and DI), it far enough for them to expand (not in the middle of a city) but not too far for already established workforce, institiution and universities (especially that from bandung). also with the completion of...

it said that president wanted PT DI and Pindad to move to kertajati. that good because their existing facility located in the middle of a city with no room for future expansion.

The plan is for Typhoon going to be scrap and used as parts, the sentinel also going to be scrap (also we need US permission if we want to buy that, it got alot of sensitive equipment). hawk t1 is to old for us (even older than our hawk) and they just got grounded yesterday because one Royal...

30mm is fine, but if we can get it use 105mm than it would good or atleast 90mm one. maybe in the future (atleast in my imagination) we can adapt it to use thales rapidfire. it got added bonus as an air defence platform Munition available

if the design and know-how they search why not partnered with some european engineering company from the advance one like Timoney Technology Limited to smaller one like supacat, they got the know-how and experience in design and manufacturing defence vehicle and willing to give tot. for example...

can someone made (or already made) organization chart about our tni ad unit using nato military unit symbol, something like this tried to make it, but i'm always busy / forget and the information about our unit on the internet differs from one source to another (and some of them are outdated)...

so, the original plan for 12 submarine right? right now we got 5 submarine on our inventory, 2 of them probably going to be retired after we received new sub which make that 3 and the news going around right now is for 4 TKMS 214 and 4 or 5 scorpene so that make it 11 or 12 subs in total. do...

if the deal included F21 would be nice, but we already got black shark, it more less got the same capability as F21 and can be use on all of our existing and future submarine under lord mindef shopping list (209, 214 and scorpene). if the torpedo does not offer better capability than what we...

what im afraid if we get caracal, pindad position here would "ngerakit aja" not really making part of the rifle. while for komodo, even though they still in the early stages if we give them enough money and time to develop, i think they would deliver and with more local content than...

I hope our reserve unit focus more on the background/supporting role (not regular infantry troops) but more like logistics (truck driver), IT, mechanics, engineer, medics, etc. it gives people who already have specialist skills like IT, medics, engineers, etc, an opportunities to use them in in...

what he mean if we choose fremm for the next frigate program its better to choose kronos than ns200 for our iver. (i think he more a fan of fremm, so thats why he say that) its not only the radar, but also the system in it. we already familiar with thales subsystem so for me its better stuck...

arrowhead would be the one for me but not in RN type 31 configuration, more firepower would be nice. the japanese one also good and they can offer us with loan, but the system on those ship more to align with US than we who traditionally use the EU system.
