Local equivalent of Mungo ESK? Mungo is pretty small Edit: The spec sheet seems to refer to a MRAP-like vehicle on the background https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mungo_ESK

Okay... So what's the problem on this one? In case of Toyota, Pindad did not ask permission to market their "carosserie" product to civilian, but Pindad already marketed them. Of course the permission isn't granted.

I wonder where they got the 70% local content from? They took engine, transmission, electrics, dashboard, floor, undercarriage whole from the foreign car. I suspect the local content (TKDN), after getting checked by authorities, would fall to about 35%. Pindad Komodo was claimed to have 80%...

It's a graphic design by a man (also in instagram I think). He also made other imaginary Indonesian military equipment, such as wheeled and tracked IFVs, alternate medium tank, MBT, aircraft, stealth aircraft, and even ships (including aircraft carrier and destroyer). Seriously he is very...

Yeah we are 5 years (even more) late on that, particularly because of the "five years without Defence Minister" during Mlyn's first reign

I somehow doubt it was the case. If we looked at Pindad's previous presentations, the imagery may be so because they simply did not have the CGI / graphics to show, so they took whats available. The lower right product is also FNSS already-existing product btw.

If you define "build" as merakit or "assemble", then yes. If you think we build it wholly in Indonesia then it is wrong.

There's a comment somewhere in the Komodo Armament IG account, but it seems to have been deleted since the parent comment has been deleted (they reacted to a comment criticizing it and gave explanation about where the materials are sourced). They did not use subcontractor apparently...

The import of barrel by Pindad is what critisized by Komodo Armament lol. Apparently, Komodo Armament could make barrel from second-hand metals from Jakarta, something that even Pindad couldn't do. This is also why they're fuming over Pindad that's always get order; and they almost never got...

The barrel for 105 mm gun is under development with similar material to those of AMX-13. The poster is still in doubt about the facility where the barrel is manufactured.
