Interesting. It is already 30km. SM-6 has 33km. How SIPER block-2 with conventional control surfaces goes above that? From what I read, at those altitude atmosphere become much thinner rendering conventional control surfaces ineffective.
That is largely irrelevant when your foreign policy is historically and currently firm on supporting Israel. Minority opinions understandably does not reflect here. I am more interested in how these states behave in the end on international stage.
Australia and Canada are colonial settler states stemming from the same origin. It make sense that both are largely identical to modern day UK.
Also one could easily see why these countries vehemently support Israel. Culturally, it is very similar to the West. Plus it serves the core...
Instrumented ranges are not that relevant. APG-83 has 90km detection range against 1m² RCS target. Similar in performance to this. Though APG-83 has better SAR resolution and higher simultaneous engagement capability. (As expected given it is derived from APG-81.)
That is the older specs. It now has improved SAR resolution of 0.5m.
For air-cooled radar of that size, 170km detection range against 5m2 RCS target is decent imo.

The meeting was unprecedented. It is really good to have this degree of US support at this critical time. There is an incentive for going beyond diplomatic backing at the world stage or the financial grant...
I don't remember denying that bro. It is assumed that we are taking about volume search mode utilizing several beams at once. (Single beam) cued search would allow longer range detection, yes.
