The offshore secrets of more than 35 current and former presidents revealed in a massive leak

The question here is how the money was made or is it money made by legitimate means that is hidden to avoid tax by using legal loop holes. Also to note this is a global issue and rich or elites hide their money. The Pandor papers have exposed politicians etc across the world including UK...

    Live Conflict War in Afghanistan

I think you need to get a job as adjutant to General Mark Milley and tell him he is wrong. USA won. Celebrate instead of being deflated. Specifically you need to educate and correct the general with referance to quote below. "It is clear, it is obvious to all of us, that the war in Afghanistan...

Defence Q&A Is the US or China the world’s economic superpower?

It's not a analogue. Germany was only marginally larger then Britain but despite that it would defeated Britain easily. The problem for the Germans was the British not only made a alliance with various powers in Europe in a manner that Germany was locked in. The geograpy of Germany being aas it...

Way to solve labor shortage? Myanmar workers working in the factories in China

From what I see they get 100 more grubby, drug infested Latinos or gangbanger Haitians. Lot of price to be paid for future political instability as we saw recently. Expect MAGA boys to grow and bite back going forward.

Way to solve labor shortage? Myanmar workers working in the factories in China

That is not predatory. That is harsh economic reality. Purely from economic POV nobody would even invest one dime in Gwadar. Only the Chinese came along to make this a reality. They can have 99% of nothing because thus far and for at least another decade the returns are going to be negligble. It...

Way to solve labor shortage? Myanmar workers working in the factories in China

USA in the period when it was a rising power or at least till 1950s was shamelessly 'white European only' preferance country. In my liftime USA had 10% of it's Negro population living in segragated, apartheid condition. The image you are harping on about is of very recent construct.

Way to solve labor shortage? Myanmar workers working in the factories in China

Remind me how long has USA been a superpower for? The Chinese are still within living memory of famines. You can't compare a century of unbridled influence to a newcomer. I normally use 'love' for the opposite sex and that might hold some water if @beijingwalker was a female, attractive and had...

Analysis The agonizing problem of Pakistan’s nukes

I have no doubt that should that eventuallity, however so remote develop Pakistan will share what it has with Turkey. I think we all know this. It's one of those unwritten undersandings.

Analysis The agonizing problem of Pakistan’s nukes

That is the bottom line. The world is not a fair place and sadly might is right. This is how it goes. You fail to understand that concept and you will perish. What drove Pakistan was the realization, blunt realization that we were alone against a enemy with nearly seven times greater...

Analysis The agonizing problem of Pakistan’s nukes

They have had 20 years. What they gonna do now that they did not do in the last 20. This is just dirty meat for vultures to feast on. It makes jot of differance. Important thing is US has left and India got caught with it's tail squeeling. That is agomizing and such reports are bandage for hurt...

Way to solve labor shortage? Myanmar workers working in the factories in China

Some of the countries that are USA include some right hellholes. Take large parts of narco-states in Central America that were often ruled by US supported dictators. These countrries have endemic corruption, drug economies and murder rates that would make Hannibal Lecter blush. @beijingwalker...

Analysis The agonizing problem of Pakistan’s nukes

I had not read the report but this is what it actually says after 'agonizing' over Pakistan. “The fear now includes the possibility that jihadis in Pakistan, freshly inspired by the Taliban victory in Afghanistan, might try to seize power at home,” the report claims. “Trying, of course, is not...

Analysis The agonizing problem of Pakistan’s nukes

I can assure you the consequences would be catastrophic. To militarly disable or remove Pakistani nukes would require a major operation involving 10,000s of US soldiers. Pakistani nukes are not exactly all stored in one house on outskirts of Abottabad. They are dispersed and some are continously...

Over 100 Chinese troops entered 5 km into India.

Mere inclusion in dictionary means nothing.

Over 100 Chinese troops entered 5 km into India.

I did. Using 'the short' is a lame excuse to take licence with disparaging language. if I used 'shorts' for India it would lead to resemble a Kumb Mela on this thread. CCP is sufficiently short for the Chinese Communists and it's actually even shorter than 'Chicom' which is play on 'Ch**k'.

Over 100 Chinese troops entered 5 km into India.

I would regard this term as disparging. As you know I have used 'shorts' for India begining with G but that raised right stink. So what gives taking licence here?
