Considering design phase still continues and phase 2 was only signed for 2 weeks ago, I expect 2032 at the earliest. Wish they go for a private interim design that won't need the Istanbul shipyard to be built as a stopgap between Istif and TF2000.

Ironically aside from the delay on TF2000 production timeline and confirming that MUGEM is still very much in the preliminary design process, we didn't learn anything new from the seminar so far.

Turkey, not being a member of EU, EEA, EFTA or Ukraine, is not eligible for SAFE funds. This just opens the avenue for low interest loans that will be paid by EU to be funneled to purchase of Turkish weapons and systems by these countries. Many EU countries already opted for Turkish products...

EU's new 150bn defence fund SAFE is now online. Turkish companies as I understand it will still require EU partners, but this will open the door to Turkish companies to get contracts with direct EU funding of low interest loans, both for EU and for Ukrainian needs. "The eligible activities...

While we are talking about SLBMs on 3000 ton subs, TF-2000 design process is still not complete and production is seemingly a long while away from beginning in phase 2. "TF-2000 Phase-1 activities continue at the Project Design Office of the DZKK. Within the scope of the project, model...

STM500 was something navy or SSB never asked for. STM went it thinking they could either get funding for more studies or bag a customer. Neither happened. It wasn't a "project" to be funded however.

I think this was expected. Nothing for now, but we'll see some contracts being dished out for Syrian needs. How the times change. Syria to possibly buy up to 400 Vuran APCs, obviously with a pretty favorable credit line.
