I absolutely do not think army or navy would get an AFV with a foreign turret after all this. This is either for an ongoing tender or it will be marketed in the future. It does look pretty awesome tho.

Welp, here it is. Looks to me like it's the 120mm gun, can't be certain tho. If it is, this would be the first Turkish IFV with a 120mm gun.

Leonardo Hitfact MK2 that can carry a 105mm or a 120mm gun to be added to Tulpar. Interesting pick that is not a Cockerill for once.

It used to be Italy 15 years ago. Probably would be UK now. As far as we know, Turkey hasn't yet officially requested to by EF2000, so there's no actual blockage, just that Germany was being "unhelpful".

For this exact reason, delays with GTU-0 are more than normal, even more so than the actual prototypes, and giving it a set date of first flight was always wrong. - Playing the devil's advocate, if we had few F-35s flying around nowadays, we probably wouldn't do this. As we could just use the...

Which do come very handy but you're not replacing 20k MTOW F-16's that go Mach 1.6 with 700kilo TB2s that go 150kts. Even for ground ops, when we want to deal some real damage, it's F-16s with HGK-83s in double rails, not Akıncıs. What's the current Akıncı number anyway, I don't remember a...

It certainly is not but it is perfect for the kind of small and short conflict Turkey may be pulled into against Greece. A long seeing, not being seen AMRAAM machine. We can't afford to lose air superiority against a country like Greece.

Yup. But there's some issues here as well. Mainly, highly unrealistic project schedules with even with many subparts still depending on US and US allies.

TR Turkiye's F-35 Project and Discussions

Yup. Funny thing is, Turkey even with its current economy can handle Viper, Özgür, F-35, EF2000 and Kaan together. And if the goal is to come to top, and survive the coming decades, we probably will need to. Both the firepower, and the relationships these purchases create.
