Uk wanting Hürjet naval is a stretch considering they are currently ordering more f35b for Airforce and Navy but as a simple trainer its possible but i think they wanted to build their own less capable trainer. Perhaps once Baykars engine comes available we will se Hürjet 2 as two engine design...
Who cares about thrust vectoring are we Russian or what. More important is the Quality of the engine if its parts need to be replaced more often then the Americans.
Then why do you post it in the first place I mean I could think of Katar buying hürjet as a trainer but that just gossip at the moment the only ones we know for sure are Spain and turkey only the numbers aren’t clear yet
I forgot to say navy also wants a version of Hürjet for mügem so about 20-35 for navy allone and perhaps airforce will buy them as a replacement for f16
Airforce wants to replace the F5 and T38 thats at least 70 aircraft if not more secondly if they only produce 20 aircraft then it wouldn't be worth the development cost. If the americans won't sell us engines for trainers than kaan will be grounded till domestic is available.
i think hürjet...
No kill switch. Even if there were one they wouldn’t use unless it’s life or death for them because afterwards they wouldn’t be able to sell weapons anymore
I know and I hate it too army could have given it just to FNSS but corruption goes a long way I mean just look at that they could have easily integrated Korhan on that
That would mean that design(weight distribution, length, size) is finished would that mean that they already finished the missile and already tested it?
Perhaps once the f16 get out of service in 2040 we will have twin engine Hürjet kinda like Turkish f18 as the low cost option aside from kaan Eurofighter and perhaps f35
Also wouldn’t 20 000 pounds be overkill for Kizilelma
im guessing it will start then because Murad is supposed to go in to production in 2026. Probably the aircraft that went to özgür 1 will also go through özgür 2 but this time it will be faster as the main difference will be the new radar.
Hisar a is reasonable
Hisar O closer to 30 but okay
But 60 siper? How why? Around 15 would be fine max 20 for training replacements or new deployment
How did you get to 60 also siper 1/2/3 are the same battery just different missile
