"E-7T guided the AMRAAM" story is wrong. E-7T enabled F-16 to acquire target sooner via L16. F-16 tracked the target with its own radar and guided the AMRAAM with the radars X band datalink. Our AMRAAMs doesn't have L16 capability.

IRIS-300 seems a little too small for a DAS (Distributed Aperture System, F-35) like system. I hope it's not an UV (ultraviolet) tube based MWS(Missile Warning System). I doubt but we may see a discrete DAS and MWS system.

AFAIK, there isn't much Ivchenko team left. Their knowledge on new gen tech is also very questionable. I am %100 sure that TEI alone can make a competent engine without IVP.

I wonder how they are testing KAAN's landing gears. Until now it was equipped with temporary ones. The new "real" ones would need intensive testing before flight. F-14s landing gear test was carried by dropping the fuselage a couple times.

I hope they replace old PESA Kalkan I/II with a new gen AESA like Sentinel A4.

Wish they also update IIR seekers with a more compact gimbal system. It enables the missile to have a smaller sapphire dome while keeping the same seeker electronics size, thus improving aerodynamics.

Finally we will have something like Seaspray AESA.
