Halcon is providing warheads, fuses, and likely control hub and ADASI is providing the wing kit and guidance. It has secured a 17 million dollar order from the UAE armed forces.

RASH 1M

The RASH precision-guided munition is a modern glider system featuring advanced automation and communication technology. This system is modular, low-cost, and highly configurable to fit onto most existing aircraft system. Each control hub supports up to 24 glider kits allowing users maximum flexibility during the retrofit process. The RASH system is ideal for swiftly engaging unexpected small to medium sized threats during patrol missions, accurately eliminating high value threats, and border security.

Got me thinking, what if they jointly developing a UCAV?

ADASI seems to have a lot of experienced engineers working on UAV systems and if they work together it would likely be successful. Unless they already are and that was what the actuators for the UAV are.😮😮😮

ADASI is poaching South Africans as well they share a lot in common.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

There were even some Turks working there on a VTOL UAV project but this guy left. :(

Picture from IDEX 2021 that had to be scaled down to fit this forum from an Arab defense forum. Really? Haha

Lucky for you guys I found a local Emirati ADASI engineers Linkedin packed with info about this system

- Development and delivery of hands-on training for end-users on how to effectively utilize ADASI products
- Documentation of development processes and software version control
- Presented ADASI's RASH project at IDEX 2021
- Aerodynamics analysis and modeling of a glider Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) using different methods: CFD data analysis, Athena Vortex Library (AVL) tool and fundamental aerodynamic equations
- Development of linear and non-linear simulation environments to facilitate Flight Control System (FCS) design and analysis
- Design, implementation and analysis of a FCS for a glider UAV using MATLAB/Simulink
- Development of a waypoint navigation system for a glider UAV
- Implementation of a custom serial communications protocol used to transmit data between the UAV and ground station
- Implementation of flight control, navigation and sensors software onto the PX4 framework using C/C++
- Validation and testing of flight control software via Software-In-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) simulations
- Introduction of rapid prototyping via FDM 3D printing into company workflow and set up a 3D printer farm on site
- Assembly of glider UAV body kit and hardware integration of all sensors, modules and harnesses
- Lead and define flight test campaign efforts to validate UAV performance metrics under operational conditions
- Analysis of flight test data to enhance or improve FCS performance and communication of results to management in a clear and concise manner
- Operation of workshop machines (metal lathe, sheet cutter/bender and drill press) for fabrication of tools, harnesses and jigs as required
- Review, consultation and approval of UAV CAD models before for 3D printing
- Operation and maintenance of FDM 3D printers whilst providing training for technicians
- Involved with aiding different departments to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Received training on how to operate and maintain RC fixed-wing aircrafts

It seems UAE is setting quite ambitious targets in the field of missiles/bombs and unmanned systems. When the relations between two states are recovered, I think we will find many common ground to work together. Past Exm. Cirit and Rabdan
