There are always hidden clauses in such agreements. It has probably been determined under what conditions these aircrafts can be used. Rafale planes had arrived for a temporary period before. Now, all Qatar air force elements without mentioning any specific aircraft type are mentioned. Turkiye is probably taking precautions against crazy adventures that spoiled state relying on protection agreements may embark on until TFX, Hürjet and MIUS are developed and probably in the coming months, the scope of drilling works in E. MED will also deepen in Turkish EEZ.

I wasn't expecting akp to go full retard they did.
Mate for once try to look at things objectively rather than that retarded always anti-AKP bullshit. It just makes you way less credible as time goes on

You think Turkey needs Qatar help in protecting its borders? This deal is nothing more than a means to justify the presence of French-made Rafales in Turkey so that they can be studied in more details in the future. Since Greece and Egypt's most advanced weaponry is the Rafale; it makes way more sense fpo Turkey to study the bloody fqing planes

This agreement is not new. Qatar and Turkey agreed long ago to allow Qatari planes in Turkey for two reasons.

1. To support Turkey if the need should occur. for example, Qatari C-17s supported Turkey's air bridge to Libya.
2. Give Qatar a 2nd strike capability, if tiny Qatar should be attacked and have all of its assets destroyed on the ground. Singapore is having the same concept with jets based in Australia and US.
