Simple dynamics of rigid bodies question for fresh engineering graduates; They still need to conduct some studies to assure those gears will withstand the worst conditions on a ship. I think for prototype tests they assume typical landing conditions on a land strip.
There is yet to come shore based ski-jump tests and arrest system tests on the land before trying it on Anadolu, in a calm sea and then desired sea state. Yes Navy has a habit of demanding demonstration on adverse weather conditions.
Sorry that I insulted your god by saying those flimsy landing gear won't work on a carrierİnşallah Baykar will be able to sign manomed he will bring the company to a higher level
Let's not be ridiculous, please. There's nothing in what he said, I said he's big and strong before I had the information. We'll see in time whether he'll change or not.İnşallah Baykar will be able to sign manomed he will bring the company to a higher level
Yes. And there is nothing wrong with the landing gears. It doesn't look like that but TB3 is actually very light with a 1450 (1500) kg MTOW for comparison Anka has an MTOW of over 1700kg. TB3 will be able to carry a payload of 280kg(Anka carries 350kg comparison). The typical load for TB3 might be 2x Kuzgun+2xKayı-50(50kg) or 2x Kuzgun+4x MAM-L.I think TB-3 would be able to carry out stand off strike as well as limited Anti ship role with KUZGUN family.

Do you know the material they used? Or specification of the hydraulic system they use?Short summary for naval landings It should have diffrent gears but for land duty those gears are sufficent.
I like baykar but they are not a god like entity I can criticize them.
PD-222ST turbo diesel engine has been specifically developed for high take off power to assist TB-3 like drones to take off at short distances. It has less power output at 30000ft than PD-170 however. As you rightly point out it is ideal for naval use.The TB3 should be equiped with a PD-220 engine, correct ? At least for the naval variant.
PD300 is also in the pipeline. The TB3 should be equiped with a PD-220 engine, correct ? At least for the naval variant.
Mojave isn't navalized. And IMO, is a bit of a freak.Wasn't the first General Atomics Mojave?
Eventually, it will also be able to land and take off on shipsMojave isn't navalized. And IMO, is a bit of a freak.
After TB3, that's for sureEventually, it will also be able to land and take off on ships
