Baykar may position front wings to a elevated position compared to the main wings like Rafale which increases the the lift of the main wings.

I could not find in which topic it was discussed that Greece want to arm her turboprop trainer and use them as "drone hunters"

Should we not consider counter arming, and arm our TB2's with sungur ATAS? Could come in handy if TB2's could fire air to air Sungur missile when needed.

There is a project dubbed fighting UAV. Sungur will indeed have an A-A version.

Selçuk Bayraktar: Our unmanned warplane will revolutionize the battlefield

Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Baykar Technical Manager Selçuk Bayraktar, who examined the TEKNOFEST Rocket Competition, said that they would make a revolution if TİHAs were used in a war environment.

Regarding the Combat Unmanned Aircraft System (MİUS), BAYKAR Technical Manager Selçuk Bayraktar said, “Unlike other examples in the world, our unmanned fighter aircraft will be able to land and take off from aircraft carriers with short runways. It is designed that way. I can say that this will be a revolution on the battlefield. In addition to this, he will be able to land on aircraft carriers with short runways in the world and "TCG will be able to land and take off in our Anatolia".

Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Baykar Technical Manager Selçuk Bayraktar, who examined the TEKNOFEST Rocket Competition held in Salt Lake, said that Bayraktar Akıncı Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TİHA) and unmanned warplane made by Baykar will revolutionize the battlefield. stated what they were thinking.

'HE WILL SIGN STRATEGIC TASKS'

Stating that the development activities of Akıncı TİHA will continue, Selçuk Bayraktar said, “Akıncı TİHA is the largest unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Turkey and the most advanced main weapon system to date. It will undertake very strategic tasks, and it will serve in a very wide range. A robot plane that you can command from where you sit, thousands of kilometers away. Robot aircraft that only 3 countries in the world can develop. In this sense, our UAVs were heavily followed in the world press. 'Akıncı' also attracted similar attention. The development activities of Akıncı will continue continuously. How do we update the applications on our mobile phones; these are the new digital technologies of the digital age we live in, and therefore they are advancing in a similar way. They are subject to constant updates. This is also the case for 'Bayraktar TB2'. "Akıncı" is an unmanned aerial vehicle that will mature and be constantly improved over the years.

'HE WILL MAKE A REVOLUTION'

Selçuk Bayraktar stated that they progressed step by step in the preliminary design phase of the unmanned warplane (Combat Unmanned Aircraft System), and said:

“With the delivery of 'Akıncı', we are at a point where we can develop our unmanned warplane with much greater confidence. This has been our dream for 10 years. We continue to work intensively on him at the moment. We are moving step by step towards the preliminary design stage. Unlike other examples in the world, our unmanned fighter aircraft will be able to land and take off from aircraft carriers with short runways. It is designed that way. I can say that this will be a revolution on the battlefield. In addition, it will be able to land on aircraft carriers with short runways in the world, and take off and land in our TCG Anatolia. We are developing our SİHA, which we call 'Bayraktar TB3'. Such a UAV will be developed for the first time in the world. Together, we think that our TB3 and our human fighter aircraft will revolutionize the history of warfare, and just as the Turkish Armed Forces used unmanned aerial vehicles in fleets in the world and signed a great paradigm shift in the history of war, these unmanned aerial vehicles together with our short-runway aircraft carrier will revolutionize the history of warfare. ”

TB2 statement from Bayraktar: We have difficulty in meeting the demands

September 9, 2021
Source: AA

Selçuk Bayraktar said, "I can say that we have difficulties in raising demands for Bayraktar TB2 from time to time."
Baykar Technology Leader and Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) Chairman of the Board of Trustees Selçuk Bayraktar went to Aksaray to watch the Rocket Races organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST, of which he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Bayraktar said that they are pleased to encourage the youth of the country to science and technology.
Bayraktar said, "Competitions like these lead to the emergence of inventors in a sense," and added that the automotive industry and electric and smart cars, which are considered a great revolution in this sector, were born from such competitions.
Bayraktar TB3 and unmanned warplane
Providing information about the unmanned aerial vehicles developed by Baykar, Bayraktar said:
"There is a great interest in our unmanned aerial vehicles from all over the world. Especially after the Idlib and Azerbaijan-Karabakh operations, this interest has increased a lot. In fact, our Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicle has participated in the Idlib operation (Operation Spring Shield), Operation Olive Branch, Operation Euphrates Shield and the last There is a great interest from the world, as he participated in the operation in Azerbaijan, and I can even say that we have difficulties in raising demands for Bayraktar TB2 from time to time. Baykar thus obtains more than 70 percent of its revenues from exports. There are more than 10 contracts signed so far. Some of them were also exported. On the other hand, we are also working for Akıncı. We made the first delivery of Akıncı. There is a great interest in him. We have not yet responded to those requests because we expected to deliver and qualify our aircraft. Currently, from anywhere that buys Bayraktar TB2 , we see that there is interest from everywhere we signed the export contract, plus from other countries. Akıncı is a more advanced system because it can do much more strategic tasks. On the one hand, we continue to rapidly develop our Bayraktar TB3 and unmanned fighter aircraft project."
"I think we will start to see this success in SİHAs in different areas"
Selçuk Bayraktar emphasized that he believes that the country will continue to make a name for itself in the defense industry and said:
"When we look at the history of technology, the defense industry has always been a locomotive. We see that the roots of all the major technologies we use are in the defense industry. Computer technology, global positioning system, and the changing internet technology that transforms the whole world are such technologies that have emerged for the first time for the defense industry. The mobile phones we use, the mobile devices The infrastructure of all of them was born with the needs of the defense industry. Our country is experiencing that 'premature birth' period. If it succeeds in spreading this transformation that it has achieved in the defense industry by spreading to these civilian areas from now on, we will see that big technology initiatives emerge from our country in a much wider range in the world. I think we will start to see this success in other civilian areas, in very different areas."

PS: The major defense exporters in the world have their ~70% avenue from exports like Baykal. Hear me Aselsan, Roketsan, STM etc.

So not 10 exports in total as announced during the Akinci presentation?
