“The Battle at Lake Changjin”

The plot is centered on how Chinese soldiers won the battle at Lake Changjin (also known as battle of Chosin Reservoir) in extreme weather conditions. The fight between the United States and China, which took place from November 27 to December 24 in 1950, is regarded as one of the fiercest battles of the Korean War.

Yu Dong, chairman of Bona Film Group and the film’s producer, says the movie is a tribute to the heroic Chinese soldiers who died in the Korean War.

Yu revealed it took them five years to revise and polish the script and two years to prepare for shooting the movie, while up to 70,000 extras were used in the war scenes.

The movie is expected to hit cinemas across China later this year.

China kept warning US to stay away from the Chinese border, but US didn't listen and pushed all the way to the Chinese border river , Yalu river, and their bombs landed into China on daily basis and killed many Chinese civilians.
China had no choice but joined the Korean war, we started at our very border and ended half way through Korea. if this is not a win, I don't know what is.

During the korean war more chinese got killed by turks than casualties they sustained. We literally cut the heads of chinese and throw them to their positions american and others always talk about how Turks never took any prisoners etc kek

Actually we fought for South Korea not for the USA.

Our politicians may have sent our soldiers due to UN and the USA but Turkish commanders like Tahsin Yazici said you are fighting for Korea like its your own country.

We fought because US fought all the way to our border the Yalu River, and repeatedly bombed our border city Dandong, if the same enemy forces advanced to your very border and bombed your border cities, what are you expected to do?
