I think only old people must be remember MKE was developed Yavuz Sph end of 90's it was copy of Pzh2000 but project was cancelled becouse of some reasons, they revived the name of the project again with this Truck Mounted Howitzer.

Sorry, but I feel expressing my joy in Turkish would get through to people on a more genuine level :)

I love this concept from Russia, it could be really effective with a few changes:

Russia unveils prototype of crewless howitzer

"According to information provided by TASS; the crewless vehicle mounted on the MTS-15 tracked platform is designed for remote operations.

According to a brief description given at the exhibition, the howitzer can be controlled from a distance of up to 500 meters and the system has an automatic loader that can hold four rounds.

Russian developers envision the system's primary role as an autonomous artillery unit that can emerge from cover, fire a small number of rounds, and then retreat to a safe location to repeat the process."

I think a better application for a system like this would be to make it preprogramed, instead of directly controlled. Just give it a coordinate to fire and a coordinate to fire from, an autoloader with 4-6 rounds (iirc most of our artillery has 6 rounds per minute as their maximum firing rate), and an order to return to base after it has completed its mission or if a return order is issued. It might not work with Fırtına or Yavuz or another 155 mm artillery, but I think it would be amazing with Boran.

The 76/62mm naval gun was named "DENİZHAN".

76/62 mm National Naval Gun DENİZHAN, consisting of 17,000 pieces, developed by MKE A.Ş. with the contributions of domestic suppliers.

The naval gun, whose land and sea acceptance tests have been completed, was first integrated into the Burak class patrol ship TCG BEYKOZ (F-503). It has an effective range of 16 km with standard ammunition and 20 km with extended range ammunition.

I think naming it was a mistake. MKE 76mm Naval Gun sounds much better.

Hope to see this gun on our other ships.

Good choices in terms of project names, but in terms of marketing, universalizing the name codes of the systems would help to increase awareness and eliminate confusion for those who follow Turkish systems abroad.

For DENİZHAN: MKE 76/62 caliber and manufacturer, a description such as Shipboard Gun / Naval Gun / Gun Mount / can also indicate the area of use. Finally, it can have abbreviation codes according to the variants developed, such as UM (long range) or SH (super fast)... And project name is, project Denizhan... I think most of us would agree that there should be a similar standardization at least in missile and ammunition groups, barreled systems, and air vehicles.

This is not consumer goods, it is a small market with a few makers. Users will appreciate the distinct names.
