Atmaca will be great. But won't it be better if we select a stealth anti ship missile? We can consider teaso mk2/e as we are already operating otomat.Beautiful. We need it asap

It's only a matter of time.(if they don't have a export version)It will be the best option for any future warship of BN. But don't know if MBDA has a export version of this missile yet.

If it were upto me I would pursue trying to source a hypersonic missile instead of anything stealth. Kh 45 for ex.Atmaca will be great. But won't it be better if we select a stealth anti ship missile? We can consider teaso mk2/e as we are already operating otomat.

Those overhyped hypersonics will be useless within 2 decades thanks to DEW's.If it were upto me I would pursue trying to source a hypersonic missile instead of anything stealth. Kh 45 for ex.
The reason I’m not on the stealth camp is because revolution in radar tech is coming and stealth will become redundant. This is why America is also focusing on speed on their next gen platformsThose overhyped hypersonics will be useless within 2 decades thanks to DEW's.
And I don't expect bondhu's to have Brahmos 2 in active service before 2035.And when they do,only a handful of their ships will have hypersonic capability at first.I don't think we need to think about hypersonic defence or having our own hypersonic missiles at least for now.Anything hypersonic will be a waste of our limited resources. It will be better if we stick with stealthy and cheap subsonics which we can easily replace.
That's exactly why you should be in the subsonic camp.If both stealth and speed doesn't work then I don't see any logic in expensive hypersonic missiles for BN.The reason I’m not on the stealth camp is because revolution in radar tech is coming and stealth will become redundant.
Rather than spending on missiles we should focus on our submarine fleet. Many western navies use subs as their main offensive platform. We can also spend on UUV's.The reason I’m not on the stealth camp is because revolution in radar tech is coming and stealth will become redundant. About hypersonic missiles, there’s currently no known system for defence against them.Rather than spending on missiles we should focus on our submarine fleet. Many western navies use subs as their main offensive platform. We can also spend on UUV's.
Getting this in common for all future vessels or just for the LPCs?

prolly for this particular project only, most of BN surface combatants uses C-802 already.Getting this in common for all future vessels or just for the LPCs?
BN is also aiming to get ships from the west, C-802 is less likely to be on those.prolly for this particular project only, most of BN surface combatants uses C-802 already.
Maintenance cost of the ships quadratically increases after 10th year. The increase becomes dramatic after 30 years. (Very rough numbers, assuming the expected life is 40)IIRC, the SIGMA's have the lowest operating costs of all Indonesian navy surface combatants, maybe BN could consider this in mind.
