Turkish Aerospace Industries and CTech, a subsidiary of the company, are developing a new system for rotary wing platforms that will enable communication with the ground control unit via satellite during flight.

The system, which will consist of ground and air terminals, will be able to instantly transfer the received audio, video and information packages to the user.

The system, which can be integrated into existing and new generation rotary wing platforms with a 12-inch antenna, will provide two-way data transmission at the frequency defined by the user. The project, which was launched in October 2022, aims to make its first delivery within four years.

The satellite communication system developed for rotary wing platforms will not be affected by the platform's track movements, which have a jamming effect in three axes.

With this ability, atak 2 can use kuzgun ky (40 km range) and kuzgun turbojet (180 km range if launched from ucav, so almost the same for choppers) efficiently.

Kotil stated that fuselage of the Atak-2 helicopter is about to be finished and that it will soon be on the landing gear. He also stated that another local institute produced very important part of the front fuselage of Atak-2 and delivered.

The 5th helicopter coming out of the T-70 production line will be delivered to the HvKK. 12 T-70 GMH will be delivered this year. Delivery will be made to 3 OGMs. The production of the first batch of 38 pieces will be completed in 2024.

The final assembly of these 2 Gökbey's continues on the production line. The delivery of 1 helicopter, whose production has been completed, will take place soon. This year, a total of 3 GÖKBEY will be delivered to the Gendarmerie General Command.

Work continues on upgrading 3 ATAK Phase-I helicopters in the PHASE-I version to the FAZ-II version.
Body production of ATAK-2 Helicopter continues. The engines will reach TAI within this month. No delay is expected for the first flight.

Upgrades on Faz 2 is Faz 3. It is not named Faz 3 as there will be no new production but in time all Faz 2 choppers will be upgraded to whatever it will be called.

Still 83 attak helicopters are too little for Turkiye . 110 t129 and 120 heavy T929 will be great .
I disagree. Turkiye will order something like 40 Atak-2 for the land forces and will call it a day. 120-140 Atak choppers are enough we have a huge UAV fleet. Specs ops, navy and air force might also order in small numbers. The Navy will probably eventually reach 16 choppers (8+8), spec ops might order several choppers and the air force might order several Atak or Atak-2 for combat search and rescue (CSAR) troops.

Turkish Aİr Force recieves their first T-70 Utility Helicopter
Currently, the Turkish Air Force uses AS-532 Cougar and UH-1 type utility helicopters. The force had not added a new helicopter to its inventory for a very long time. In particular, AS-532 Cougar helicopters were carrying the entire load of the 135th Ateş Squadron. It is possible that the M134 Gatling Cannon will be integrated into the T70's of the Turkish Air Force with blue livery in the future -
TUSAŞ T-70 deliveries continue
