A Muslim NGO doesn't really make for a great witness. It's funny to see how a timid crackdown against radicalism is portrayed in the Turkish media as Islamophobia and racism when in reality these are long overdue anti terrorism measures and a fight against a paralel society slowly creeping in into European fabric
I assume you didn't really bother reading the article mate.
Here's the part that you should really be paying attention to.
An annual report published in June by the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) warns that the public discourse in Austria has become "increasingly xenophobic," and the political actors are playing a part in this. The report describes political speeches as "highly divisive and antagonistic," targeting Muslims and refugees.
So yes, things are going down south. This is just one article out of many throughout the past many years, and it just keeps getting worse and worse.
What's a problem is if people refuse to acknowledge the increasing xenophobia.
You can't gloss it over by saying "crackdown against radicalism" because you are instigating xenophobia/islamophobia and in that content you approve of crackdown on all muslims as you see fit.
IMO, You are a racist mate, you live in UK and you support radical action against muslims. IMO, You do not think Human rights apply to muslims.
