CHP Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Affairs Ünal Çeviköz also raised a similar claim during the war for the liberation of Karabakh, and these statements were used as propaganda material by the lobby/post-truth information centers of both Iran and Armenia. While we are unable to show a common stance even in our own country, we should not be angry with the countries that make false propaganda with hostile feelings against Azerbaijan.

It certainly is, but the understanding that turns reality upside down is trying to make us accept the opposite. This post-truth bombardment has reached a common language both by our so-called allies in the west and by the countries that have been the source of terrorism in our east. The reason why these lies are repeated over and over again, without touching or listening any counter-argument, is that aiming for no one can challenge it anymore and the mass reaction is broken. It is one of the most typical psyop methods. There are perhaps millions of idiots even in Turkiye today who started to defend this false claim to the death. The lies about the Armenian deportation are the best example of this systematic in the recent history of the world, and the methods they have used in the present day to deal with these issues are small-scale replicas of it.
They create terrorism, they create wars and situation in defiance of any law, and they create a de facto situation in exchange for being the lapdogs of larger states with regional ambitions. Meanwhile, crimes against humanity are being committed, civilians are being brutally murdered, cultural traces are being hostilely destroyed. But they play the victims when the oppressed side slaps them in the face when the chips are down. I am describing this cycle very simply, but almost all of us who have been personally accused know the details of this systematic and how complex the strategy is. They silence us, they forbid us to speak. They expect us to accept the lies and break our reflexes by repeating them over and over again. Every hesitation from within us and every action and statement in support of this lying machine, let alone the Azerbaijan-Turkey brotherhood, means undermining the foundations of our country's existence.

Iran has been trying to ferment a Sunni vs Shia war in Azerbaijan for decades.
Just like what the Iranians did in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.
Azerbaijan is a majority Shia with a 20% Sunni population.
Regardless Azerbaijan largely escaped any kind of secratarian war regardless if its Muslims, Christians or Jews.
Azerbaijanis tend to put aside their religious differences emphasis more on their ethnic identity and culture.
Since Azerbaijan is secular you also have an irrelegious population.
Azerbaijanis tend to understand Persian racism and fascism that the shia card is a facsade to further Persian imperialism.
