2/ Maitri's father Kantilal used to ferry people from Surat to Mumbai airport for a living and watch the planes take off and land. That's when he decided that his daughter would fly a plane. He even sold off a piece of his land to arrange fees for a flight training course in USA.

3/ After finishing class 12, Maitri left for the US to undergo this training programme. Having completed the 18-month course in just 12 months, she has returned to Surat. Setting eyes on the future, she now aims to fly the Boeing aircraft for which she will begin training soon.

The Turkish President also referred to China's minority Muslim Uyghurs in Xinjiang and Myanmar's Rohingya crisis during his address

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has again referred to the issue of Kashmir in his address to world leaders at the high-level UN General Assembly session.

Last year also, Erdogan in his pre-recorded video statement to the General Debate had made a reference to Jammu and Kashmir.

India at that time termed it as “completely unacceptable”, saying Turkey should learn to respect the sovereignty of other nations and reflect on its own policies more deeply.

Erdogan in his address to the General Debate on Tuesday said, “We maintain our stance in favour of solving the ongoing problem in Kashmir for 74 years, through dialogue between the parties and within the framework of relevant United Nations resolutions.”

The Turkish President, a close ally of Pakistan, had repeatedly raised the issue of Kashmir in his address to the high-level General Debate. He had also raised the Kashmir issue during his visit to Pakistan last year.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) at that time has said Erdogan’s remarks reflected neither an understanding of history nor of the conduct of diplomacy and that they will have strong implications on India’s ties with Turkey.

It said India rejected the repeated attempts by Turkey to justify the cross-border terrorism “practised so blatantly” by Pakistan.

In his address on Tuesday, the Turkish President also referred to China’s minority Muslim Uyghurs in Xinjiang and Myanmar’s Rohingya during his address.

Erdogan said that “within China’s territorial integrity perspective, we do believe that more efforts need to be displayed regarding the protection of the basic rights of the Muslim Uyghur Turks”.

The US and the EU besides many other countries have accused China of committing genocide against the Uyghurs in resource-rich Xinjiang and called for an international probe by human rights groups. “We also support ensuring the safe, voluntary, dignified return of Rohingya Muslims, who are living in difficult conditions in camps in Bangladesh and Myanmar, back to their motherland,” Erdogan said.

The reality is sadly very complicated.

The situation in Kashmir is indeed India's fault and a living and breathing monument of the country's incompetency to provide basic human rights.

However, if I had to choose between India and Pakistan, I would select India over Pakistan in a heartbeat when it comes to security, living standards and upholding the rule of law. Me being a Muslim doesn't change the reality of India being simply in a better overall constitution.

Furthermore, as long as Pakistan supports the erasing and killing of the Uygur minority, Turkey should reserve its criticism of the Kashmir conflict solely to bilateral meetings with the Indian side behind closed doors.

How is it India's fault in your opinion?

I have lately seen some turks being oblivious towards the Indians and majority of it comes from lack of informations or knowledge of the certain creature at play here.

An Indian is the one of the most simplest individual to understand and there is no complications with them nor hypocrisy becuase his world is black and white nor political correctness which is a trait I appreciate to be fairly honest.

Remember the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict the worst anti-Turkish element was coming from India like there lives were on the line and ask yourself this question do you have any borders with India? The answer is no than what dog-fight did Indians have in Nagorno-karabakh issues? The answer is simple first Turks than Muslims not the other way around.

The Indians have a special dislike for the turks and their dislike for the turks goes above any form of ideology but more like bloodline lineage and history. The Turks are blamed for savaging India once upon time hence an Indian will always support anyone against turkey even if it is the devil himself.

There is no democracy in India by the way nor a constitution you getting lynched as a turk in India is at higher probablity than you not getting lynched in India that is just the ground reality in India and note this has nothing to do with Ideology when it comes to the turks but their blood itself is regarded as a threat. If a turkish blood is flowing thru your veins than you are an automatic threat to an Indian. The only people supporting Israel were also the Indians during the 11 day conflict.

Also The Indians are solely to blame for the defeat in Afghanistan as I said their vitriol blind online hate is actully bringing the same monster they claim to fear and hate back to live and that monster was going away thru out the last century by default but Indians have been performing a heart bump technique to desperately revive it and they have succeeded in the nearby areas to their borders and now it is set to spread because you have to realize the Islamic world is a reactionary warm blooded people if you start throwing vitriol at their face on SNS this will light the fire in them and in their bellies this is what occured in Af-Pak leading to the quick demise of ANA this could spread even further lead exclusively by India unintentionally.

I live in england and if i'm being honest indians tend to make good lackeys for the english? If they have no issue with what the british did to them, why are they so bothered about the Turks who made india rich and powerful as opposed to the british who made it weak and poor?

I think we should rather focus on how the things will end up instead of who is right and who is wrong. We should know by this point that international law is just a legitimizer for the strong and means nothing for the weak.

I try to not get dragged by historic/judical and especially moral reasonings in geopolitic matters.

If such things mattered, USA would have collapsed by now.

A chinese political expert said a year ago or 2 that India is holding back the US and causing most of her regional planning to unraval and looking back it he was right. The US have tried to distance itself from India lately because due to it's communal unrest and the BJP gov't being extremists because this has caused China to gain major foothold in Asia hence India has undone most of the works done by the US their plan was to ally with the Islamic world in a pontential china showdown but India has sort of unravaled these plans and instead granted China alot of allies in the region as in response to India hence weakening the US and strengthening China all these closer to China are politically now closer to China even Turkey and others are slowly being suked into the Chinese corner and all the unravaling came from India and the Pakistan lobbies has worked tirelessly to turn others on India hence the US plan was to make Pakistan-India on the same team but India unravaled all these plans hence the Chinese expert said India is a hindrance to the Americans which was true and they are annoyed by it

well i have seen them salivating and celebrating on twitter in the comments (there were many of them) when the Armenian Missiles hit civilans in Ganja Azerbaijan . I think its more to do with Turks being Muslim than with their race.
