This is what Turkey has to do, all the industrialized countries like Germany, Great Britain, France, Japan, China, USA & Co have only become successful because they have become an Export Country for Industrial, Chemical Goods, Military goods and Consumer Goods since the 60-70s.
I have never understood why the Turkish governments never had the industrial and political will to take this path before, they were asleep for decades.
With high-quality military goods, there is also an automatic transformation into civilian industry, which generates jobs, prosperity and stability.
Let it be machine parts, engines or entire plants for production processes for object XY as a country then goes from being a workbench (Turkey before) for others to an innovator.
You can think what you want about the current government, but there has never been a government before that has pushed through such blatant changes in industry, infrastructure and mega projects such as Istanbul Airport, Istanbul Sea Canal, Turkish Airlines as a global brand as it has now and it will continue with new military technology and exports.
Then hopefully the civilian industry will also come into play for Turkish products as a seal of quality Made in Turkey.
