There is a taxonomy system in which the world's largest arms producers, the USA and Russia, encode all their technologies. For example, the AGM-114 Hellfire missile. AGM-114 Air to Ground Missile means the 114th project. Turkish defense technologies, which I have been wondering and waiting for for years, have been classified and updated with taxonomy.
Turkish taxonomy is basically gathered under three main headings as A, B and C.
For example;Atmaca anti-ship missile will be given a taxonomy number under this heading.
C: SYSTEMS AND PRODUCTS
It includes efforts such as classifying systems and products while preserving their integrity and evaluating, analyzing and modeling technologies for this whole.
C03 WEAPONS & WEAPON SYSTEMS
C03.06 Missile Systems - Anti Surface (Sea) in header
Research, analysis, design, modeling and evaluation studies on missile systems which are aiming to destroy or damage the targets above water surface.
