Deputy Defense Minister Nikos Hardalias visited military bases and observatories on the islands of Halki, Kassos, and Astypalaia on Wednesday, concluding a two-day visit to the eastern Aegean.

The minister toured several military installations and was informed by their commanders of current operational and training activities. He also spoke with the staff, conscripts, and national guardsmen serving there.

Good for him,this gives him consensus amongst the population. This is a dick measuring contest at this point. This climate of constant warmongering from the media,is not a good thing for the economy.

I'm sure those who ruled Greece had no brains, the money spent on the army could have been spent on the people. They are creating enemies for themselves, politicians are filling their pockets thanks to their arms purchases. All of these taken will rot unused. What they need to do is to be calm and to ensure that the Greek Cypriot part is also calm.
