It seems that governments have resorted to pre-WWII inaction. Bow to the enemy.
I would imagine the people of Ukraine feel betrayed by what is currently going on.
Give up land. No NATO inclusion. No guarantee that Russia will not take the rest once they rebuild forces.
Straight forward explanation of US, UK, etc. no living up to promises.
