Tea is fantastic... What a shameless people making up lies wherever they go
Please don't troll. It isn't India which has a track record of lying. From "No Pak soldiers in Kargil" to "Osama isn't in Pakistan" to "No F-16 was shot down" Pakistan has always lied to its gullible population. Facts eventually come out.

Nobody in the entire world expect gullible indians believe that a F-16 was shut down. stop embarrassing yourself

You can fret and shout as much as you like. Given Pak's history of lying and hiding facts, it's obvious to the democratic world Pak is lying. As usual.

I don't care what Pakistan says. An uncountable number of international experts (including the US defence sector) has refuted India's claim of shooting an F-16 down. NO INDEPENDENT SOURCE has ever confirmed Indians version. The only thing you shot down during the encounter was your own mi-8.

Sure - just like "Osama is not in Pakistan."

Those who want proof of f16 being shot down must see the statements given by Pakistani Asif ghafoor
Ofcourse neither the Americans nor Pakistanis would accept it because it effects them either way.

American Govt. has officially maintained a silence on the issue.

They would be
If they speak up that no f16 was lost directly there would be diplomatic problems
If they speak up that f16 was lost there would be a question mark about the capabilities of f16 and might be that sales are affected

Abhinandan has balls of steel , he proceeded with a 50 year old aircraft against best pitted by enemy ,some serious question which that incident raised by the incident .

1) Why we have limited or predictable coverage of AWECs during that incident.
2) Why they have aircraft with no software defined radios when they very well know that enemy can jam their aircrafts with the superior Electronic jamming capabilities against the weakest we have.
3) Why India failed miserably in countering the info warfare after the incident.
4) Pakistanis did self goal after revelaing the "dosra banda" but still India lost in this propaganda war.

If you come into a thread and break forum rules right off the bat (especially with no provocation), you get a warning point and thread ban in this section.

If you accumulate warning points too quickly, you will get a ban (3 points within a month). That is on you.

There are no more pre-warnings and soft-warnings for members that have been here long enough now.

It is against forum rules to collectively attack an entire country with words like "shameless".

""Abhinandan's award is a huge embarrassment to Pakistan. It clearly depicts the world that Pakistan pilots lack professionalism. Abhinandan was flying a vintage aircraft MiG-21, which is almost outdated and he shot down the street of the art and the frontline aircraft of Pakistan F-16. Pakistan could not digest this, hence giving a strange reaction," Retired Major General and Defence expert PK Sehgal told ANI.
Expressing her views on the subject, Retired Flight Lieutenant and defence expert, Shiwalee said, "So Pakistan is at it again. The fake propaganda machinery is again mocking India for giving veer chakra to group Captain Varthaman. Pakistan should get it facts first right. After Pakistan's Pulwama attack, we attacked Pakistan in retaliation in the Balakot airstrike. Pakistan then again tried to attack India but Abhinandan who was flying MiG-21 Bison shot down Pakistan's F-16. Pakistan could not digest this and that is why probably it is trying to create fake stories.""

The various "India-Specific Enhancements" or ISEs that were contracted in the Rafale deal will begin being carried out on IAF's fleet starting January 2022. About 13 of them are publicly available to list:

Ed-61xuUYAEq7vD.jpg

  1. Radio Altimeter height measurement increased from 10,000 feet to 15,000 feet
  2. Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) frequency band from 2.5-18 GHz to 10-18 GHz (could actually be reverse, not sure).
  3. Addition of new Low Band Jammer (LBJ) pod with frequency band of 1-4.5 GHz
  4. Flight Data Recorder (FDR) recording time increased from 10 hours data to 16 hours data plus two hours of audio.
  5. High altitude engine start-up to 12,000 feet (necessitated due to operations from Himalayan bases)
  6. Non Cooperative Target Recognition (NCTR) mode added in RBE-2 AESA Radar (surprised this wasn't part of original export...understandable though, NCTR is highly sensitive stuff. A lot of air forces actually don't even use it).
  7. Doppler Beam Sharpening (DBS) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) modes in Radar (I'm guessing these were removed/dampened for export by default).
  8. Ground Moving Target Indicator and Ground Moving Target Track (GMTI/T) modes in Radar
  9. Infra-Red Search and Track (IRST) being added back to the Front Sector Optronics (FSO) suite. The IRST was originally part of it, but the French later removed it for F3 for cost reasons as the TV sensor alone could do most of the required jobs. IAF however requires IRST. Dunno if this could be same one as before or a new/updated one.
  10. Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) - the French did integrate a Thales HMD, but actually use the jet without it.
  11. Training Mode in Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS)
  12. Towed Decoys - Perhaps X-Guard, or maybe something else.
  13. Very High Frequency Omni-directional Range (VOR) navigation system.

However, this is not all - keen aviation watchers have spotted several unique additions to the Indian Rafale that do not exist on French, Egyptian, Qatari or Greek versions - such as what appears to be an internally-carried Very High-Band Jammer (VHBJ) below the nozzles (possibly intended to jam the Ka/Ku-band seekers on Active homing BVRAAMs):

Plus several new hatches/access ports on the fuselage that didn't exist previously - indicating possible new LRUs inside at those locations:

However, several such changes/additions find no mention in public domain. Indicating there could be so much more than meets the eye - there has been a longstanding view that the Indian Rafales will be made capable of the Strategic Forces Command (SFC)'s unique requirements for the airborne nuclear delivery mission, replacing the IAF's Mirage-2000 in that role.

I don't care what a "nobody" says...right after downing the Mig, DG-ISPR claimed they had 2 pilots in custody...one being Abhinandan while the other being treated in CMH. Any guesses who that other pilot is or where he is currently

If that happens to be another Indian pilot, they should've handed him over as well and gained more PR

This has been interesting to follow, wonder if anything will come of it or they find a way to squish this too:

It stated that the call lasted two minutes and 27 seconds, during which Mr Khan exchanged congratulatory remarks with the pilot, who stated on his own, without being questioned by the petitioner, that whatever was being shown on media was not even 30pc and that there had been 350 casualties on ground.
