स्वागत Swagat, नमस्कारNamaskar (Welcome, Greetings ) to all members and guests reading, browsing and/or posting in Indian subforum of defencehub.live
It is now a little past 3 months for this forum's creation. In the rush of all that, a proper welcome (to this subforum) was not given at its inception and this is addressed belatedly now.
2020 (with its grievous issues, challenges and circumstances) nears it end....2021 will hopefully be a better year for all reading this and also for this forum and subforum.
Holiday/vacation season likely makes schedules busier soon w.r.t forum etc (at least for me).
So I decided to post this now for member convenience (especially new members and interested guests) on how best to use/interact in this subforum as of this moment.
They in general apply to the forum at large too.

Rule guideline:
A) Please leave all (previous forums) issues/attitudes/SOP's etc at the doorstep as much as you can. Treat this subforum (and larger forum) as clean slate as far as possible before you enter (especially if you see old adversary). Experiences and recollections are fine if pertinent to subject/debate matter and follow the rules, but that is really about it. Try build something new, informative and better here. Auld Lang Syne etc...but let the foul bygones be bygones too.
B) Read the forum rules if you haven't already: https://defencehub.live/threads/forum-rules.802/
C) Use common sense and common decency, especially when engaging an opponent. Approach a mod (or use report button) if there is rule violation rather than breaking the rule in response yourself.
D) Warnings will be issued henceforth for rule violations from any member here. No ifs and buts anymore.
E) Too many warnings accumulated may lead to a temporary forum ban. This is last resort of course.

General FAQ:
A) Post (new) article/topic either in existing subsection or main page. They will be moved/archived as seen fit by me later.
B) I normally archive + organise end/start of each month. This generally gives articles about 1 month time to exist "as is" in the main section if you want eyes on it that way.
C) Similarly directly posting into an archive or existing thread will generally tag/alert all previous thread posters. So it depends what your preference is. B and C are done to keep number of pages (on main) to as few as possible (a later or returning visitor etc can just browse by topic interest more conveniently)
D) Subsections are just rough guidelines to make browsing easier at the top of main page. Same goes for Archives.
E) Threads of special relevance, importance and interest will be pinned for convenience. It is a little too many right now and I will be unpinning some.
F) This thread will remain locked, it is just a "Read only" Guide basically. So there is no convo/debate here (just things might be updated here over time w.r.t subforum)
G) If you have suggestions, additions, concerns etc (for this thread or in general), message me on my profile page or inbox or use the forum suggestion area too: https://defencehub.live/forums/feedback-suggestions.2/ ..... whatever your preference is.

IN Subforum org. Update Log (December 2020):
IN Economy + Science and Industry subsections (redundant, low activity) merged into "IN internal matters". Standardises with rest of forum.
More threads added to IN External matters. More will be added as relevant news for those countries w.r.t India come for monthly archiving.

Thank you for your attention and please enjoy.
