Guys, apart from MicroCompact model ,all other Canik polymers are reliable.

Unfortunately MC9 has a lot of issues due to their new MicroCompact design.

Slide is not completely returning.
Ejector arm spring prevents the rounds from seating.

Don't buy unless Canik redesign mc9

İf i bought Turkish micro compact,I would go for Stoeger STR 9 MC. A lot of good comments.


Again if not micro compact i would buy Canik TP9 polymer rather than Stoeger STR-9. Because STR-9 also has some problems.

Anyway Stoeger MC Design seems reliable.

Compact is enough.In Turkey we almost only have one pistol we should not buy MicroCompact model

Sounds like recoil spring problems too stiff i guess, either you switch it out or just shoot couple hundred rounds.

Anyway i'm not a sub/micro compact fan because i have larger hands and i don't have to conceal carry a gun because i'm not living in da hood... outside the US market this type of Pistols are probably only interesting for security personel.

Canik pistols are very accurate as it has very light and short trigger but for EDC light trigger is not okay for me.

As i said before, Under stress and in the chaos you might accidentally pull the light trigger.

In my opinion, SAR9 series design a bit better than TP9 series but the production canik better.

Btw in Istanbul the showroom of sarsilmas is far better than others

tisas and canik store only 1 staff working without Energy ,the others even very hard to find place.
Only Sarsilmaz have large showroom and enough staff to answer your questions

One of The reason I didn’t buy canik was that the staff girl can’t explain the difference between so many TP9 and Mete.
Maybe I will buy a new canik when I renew my ruhsat

There are only a couple reviewers on YouTube who find faults in Canik METE MC9 out of hundreds. And the faults they come up with can be caused by other elements than the pistol itself; like faulty ammo, or shooter riding the slide release or wrist limping and such. I hundred percent disregard them. As for a tight recoil spring, leave the slide open overnight, and it is gone. There is also something called the break in period for any pistol, especially if you are not softening the recoil spring by resting it open overnight; you need to break the pistol in by firing up to 300 rounds to make it run smoother. And if you haven't cleaned and lubed your pistol, it is on you.

I haven't bought a pistol yet, but if I buy one, that would be either the Canik Mete MC9 or the Canik METE SF (Pro).

Like polymer 1911. Trigger pull weight is just 2kg ( fucking light) and very short reset!!! Accuracy is top!!!

For sure very light trigger needs safety so the handgun has grip safety.
İn addition , it has Glock style trigger safety .

Ayrıca glocklardaki gibi silahı sökerken tetik düşürmekte gerekmiyor. Namluda mermi unutup patlatanlar çok oluyor.
