(apparently they're designed for US Navy's America-class LHAs and Wasp-class LHDs in mind)

It says "in it's class". I don't think we can compare the TB3 with bigger MQ-9B.

Ga made mojave as short take off model. I tought it would be the one for the ships. Apparently it serves for different purpose

This is a answer to all that source people complaining about why is CATS not finish, the problem is ther are parts what is difficult is to make. Like PIEZO actuator to move in micron or thousandth, Kadir Dogan explain it all. Why we should work with Hensoldt, maybe should buy the company or start a new generation Flir with them against Westcam. We should accept this, our CATS is not pair with Westcam for now.

Is Hensoldt dying to create a new-line of FLIR with Turkey?
Can they assure there won't be any kind of restrictions in future on components of the FLIR?

The answer to both is; No. We will have to make it on our own.

PIEZO actuator
If only this was the only matter to begin with the CATS. Aselsan has sorted majority of the issues that was keeping it away from the inventory. Some of those are already mentioned by Ibrahim Sunnetci and others. Stabilization and image quality is something acceptable as long as it passes a threshold, there has been serious issues with the CATS which is now sorted.

I think stabilization and controller issues will be sorted within this and next year. But again i am sure we will have surplus of actuator producers once Aselsan has developed one. This always have been such; an item is embargoed, systems work without that for years and nobody pays attention from the producer side then somebody puts effort into R&D and spends money, then comes the produces like ants in millions (just as it was happened with anti-Jam GPS antennas) and spin-off start-ups to have "their own very special variant".

We have serious issues with the ecosystem and it will cause more issues than just not having MX-15 in near future.

Actually Chaffe will be incorporated. But I doubt if the tips of the plane can handle the weight of a2a missiles.
But since an Aesa radar will also be fitted, it is only logical that an a2a missile is fitted on to one of the pylons if required.
They will integrate sungur which is very light and akinci can definitely carry several.
I am interested in the range that air-launched sungur will have though. If ground-launched version has 8km range I am expecting at least 10-15km range for air launch version.

Bayraktar said, "Although yesterday, an American company published that 'we will do it first for ships with short runways,' but let's see who will do it first."

I disagree with the argument that Turkiye couldn't find piezoelectric actuators therefore CATS had problems. The real problem with CATS comes from its design. It is not designed to have extreme targeting and stabilization needs of UAVs in mind. It is designed with a mediocre stabilization system from the start. After the production, the product is redesigned and reworked with the additional requirements. And the real issue was MTBF hours. Sure you might not get a perfect image at 100+km but CATS was never designed to have that in mind 30km was the target if I'm not mistaken. After all the effort CATS came really close(5 µm resolution for positional accuracy) to foreign competitors. Aselsan is designing F-500C and Aselflir-600 with extreme stabilization in mind. Those will have direct-drive motor(with integrated encoders) technology for the external axis (right-left turning movement) rather than an electrical motor with gears. Turkiye is arguably at the forefront of direct drive technology. Arçelik sued LG for patent infringement of its direct-drive technology. Inner axes of F-500C and Aselfilir-600 will have linear motors that will have <0.1 µm resolution. Aselsan plans to use piezoelectric materials for extreme vibration control but it is not clear whether they will make their way for the F-500C and Aselflir-600.

The spirit is good, but to be able to challenge GA-ASI, Baykar should have launched TB-3 by now and has begun the ground tests for STOL. Last time i have seen it was still under-going assembly process with major parts remaining to be integrated.

Meanwhile, GA-ASI has already got ahead in STOL -they have a working and proven system- and necessary landing gear / brake designs, Baykar will need to redo those landing gears for a short landing (speaking by knowing the G limits they have designed those gears in first place). Also keep in mind USN is on the top of the naval aviation league and while they are conducting sea trials Baykar will be stuck with ground based test field. We have got no LHD, LHA, ACs in spare to test systems.

And we have got advantage of; engineers working round the clock non-stop with nationalistic feels, dynamism of Baykar and cost-effectiveness of platforms designed by them.

Ga is pinnacle of drone technology. Predator, sky guardian, avenger are all good drones. Ga will develop its most mature platform as stol purposes. Even if they do, it will be a different class of drone in terms of payload and will be very expensive compared to tb3.
I do not care who is going to be first as long as baykar develop tb3 within timeline.
