There is no Turkish developed helicopter other than Atak and Atak2.
Baykar's work was very small and there is not much info about it.
There are a few developed by individuals which didn't get past the first prototype.
There are abandoned and failed attempts in the past.

If you have like $25k, just PM me.
Gökbey?

It was co-developed with a foreign company and also not the first unmanned helicopter to be developed, if i recall correctly -

Their web sites claim it’s the first unmanned helicopter of Turkiye.

- Baykar Tech developed one firs
- followed by TUSAS that was based on Mosquito single seater helicopter

Yeah but I’ve read that ALPIN is ready for service. I don’t think it’s the case for Baykar and TUSAS ones ?

The problem with this chart is it takes the lift coefficient same, but in reality they are not
That is a small difference, lift coefficient can not be too different from plane to plane among the same class of planes. This is a rough assessment anyway.

Gökbey is not Turkish made.

Just kidding,
But it is very similar to an Italian heli which TAI was making parts of.
Anyway there is only one maker.

There is nothing to be mad about, for your satisfaction the nose section is different.

That would mean Motor Sich AI450 Engines for Baykar Akinci are likely delivered too!

I posted about the Motor Sich Airlines AN-12 landing in Turkey.
Check it out.

There seems to be a huge uncertainty in terms of Engine Supply from Ukraine to Turkey in order to be used in UAVs due to the ongoing war.
I came by a Flight by accident which could shed some light.

09 Apr 2022

There seems to be a Antonov-12BK (20 Ton Payload) which has taken off from Uzhhorod in Ukraine.

This plane is operated by Motor-Sich Airlines

The Antonov-12 has landed in Istanbul Grande Airport and not Corlu Airport.
After that it flew to Burgas in Bulgaria and hasn't moved since then

15.04.2022

There is another Anotonov-12 from Istanbul Grande which flew to Greece
Which seems interesting because there is no flight history from where it flew to Istanbul.
Perhaps it had its Transponder turned off.

Another Detail:
The Antonov-12 apparently turns it Transponder off before it reaches Ukrainian Airspace, above Slovakia.
The Airport is right at the border.

So what I am suggesting:

Zaporizhzhia Motor Sich Plant > Truck to Uzhhorod Airport > Antonov-12 to Istanbul

How long we'd had to wait before we integrated the first TF6000 engine to Kızılelma, you think?

(assuming everything went smoothly)

Gökbey with Ts1400 has not been started manned test trials. It should give you an idea about how long woul it take for mius.

TS1400 was a first, TF6000 is a second which is supposed to take less time with the gained experience. I would say by the end of 2025 we can see the engine flying on Kızılelma.

To add, TS1400 is meticulously tested for flying people whereas TF6000 will power a drone. This should make the the timeframe for its first flight shorter.
