Tula Design Bureau. A.G. Shipunova showed a detailed model of the new version of the Pantsir-SM-TBM air defense system. The new air defense system is made in the version of a transport-combat vehicle and received the prefix "TBM". In this version, the air defense system lost its cannon armament, but increased the arsenal of missiles to 24 pieces, in the old versions of the Pantsir- air defense system there were 12 missiles. The increase in the number of missiles is apparently due to the increased role of drones in modern wars and the emergence of swarms of combat drones in the near future. The air defense system is capable of not only storing and transporting missile weapons, but also carrying out combat work for missiles. The developers had to abandon the station for detecting air targets: in combat formations, the Patsir-SM-TBM will receive target designation from other vehicles in the battery or from command posts of a layered air defense system. The air defense system received small-sized anti-aircraft guided missiles against small drones and UAVs, there are four in total. In the maximum load option, the Pantsir-SM TBM air defense system will be able to fire a volley of 96 missiles. The air defense system received a new sighting station with a phased antenna array. Thanks to this, the system sees targets at a distance of up to 75 kilometers. Thus, the effective firing range of the complex is increased to 40 kilometers - twice as much as compared to Pantsir-S1.

Russia uses guns against PAX STUPOR drones in Ukraine. To combat the drones, the allied forces of the Russian military began to use guns against the STUPOR drones in Ukraine. The complex against drones PARS "STUPOR" emits electromagnetic impulses and suppresses the control channels of drones. To neutralize the drone, you need to press and hold the button on the weapon, the drone loses contact with the operator and, depending on the drone model, can smoothly land, hover, or return to the operator. Weapons against drones operate at ranges up to 1500 meters and suppress the reception of signals from all types of navigation satellites. The charge of the weapon is enough for 4 hours and it is available for free sale, the price is about 10 thousand dollars.

Which land based systems does Russia have at present in regards to Kontsern Radioelectronic Technologies (KRET), or rather R-330Zh ‘Zhitel’ like systems, that are able to disrupt or suppress feeds to e.g. the MLRS systems deployed now by NATO and Ukraine?
I am aware of other such aircraft/helicopter and satellite mounted systems - but not in regards to land based systems.

I guess you mean something like this:

Incidentally, one of these was captured by the Ukrainians largely intact:

Thanks, but not in regards to strategic assets towards airborne targets.
Actually more into such systems used on tracked and wheeled vehicles. Like the ELOKA Fuchs or EW Boxer of the Bundewehr- directed towards communication and EW towards land based assets, like MLRS/Himars or any vehicle depended on satellite data and comms.
What was that Russian tracked EW vehicle about that was captured or destroyed at Hostomel airport?

yes - exactly, thanks for the research
So any info in regards to other similar EW vehicle's in the Russian inventory?

Sorry I only know bits and pieces. They have such a huge plethora of this stuff, several generations of it going back to early Soviet times.

For the first time, the work of the new Russian robotic demining vehicle "Prokhod-1" in combat conditions is shown. The complex completed state tests back in 2016, but since then there has been no news about it. The sapper robot "Prohod-1" was created on the basis of the BMR-3MA and it uses enhanced mine protection, you can also see a large number of dynamic protection elements on the vehicle's body. The robot for demining is equipped with many antennas, this is done in order to jam the control signals of radio-controlled mines. The Prokhod-1 complex is capable of operating in three modes: under the control of a crew of 2 people, remotely under the control of an operator with a command post based on KAMAZ, and in automatic mode with predetermined movement parameters. The robot creates passages in minefields 4.5 meters wide in combat conditions, even under enemy fire, and is equipped with a new TMT-S trawl to neutralize contact mines, as well as cutters that cut the wires of remote-controlled land mines.

Russian servicemen showed the preparation for firing of the modernized Russian rocket-propelled infantry flamethrower PDM-A "Shmel-M". The maximum firing range of a jet flamethrower is 1700 meters, the aiming range is 800 meters. The mass of the warhead is 3 kilograms, the weight of the flamethrower is 8.8 kilograms. The circular dispersion of the Shmel-M flamethrower at a distance of 300 m is 0.5 m. More details in the video.

Footage of the new Russian fire control complex for troops "Planshet-M-IR" has been published. In this case, the complex is placed in a new armored car "Athlete". The complex was created to automate the fire control of artillery, mortars and MLRS. The system allows the command through the tablet to see the entire situation on the front line and quickly control the fire and the actions of different groups of troops. The complex, through a closed satellite channel, can exchange data, including with UAVs and radars. The task of the complex is to exclude the human factor from the processes of obtaining target designation and carrying out calculations before hitting the target, this speeds up the work of units and increases the accuracy of the strike. "Tablet-M-IR" became the development of the "Tablet-A" complex, which is already being mass-produced and has a lot of positive feedback from the military.

A new mini missile has been developed for the Russian Pantsir-S1M air defense system. The new missile makes it possible to more effectively shoot down small targets from a record close distance of 500 meters. The development was carried out to fight primarily with massive small-sized targets and, apparently, to reduce the cost of missiles. The Pantsir-S1M missile will reportedly shoot down UAVs and multiple rocket launchers.

If I could log on by computer I’d have posted a google translated version.

The article explains how much Russia is struggling to get their hands on western tech to be able to crunch out military hardware.

refering to RUSI who’s had their hands on hardware used to analyse hownmuch of the hardware used has western components in them. That are only produced in the west.

out of 27 systems more than 450 parts / components were from the west.

Imo this could very well be Turkey unless we start using our own stuff, even if it costs twice as much

At the Army-2022 forum, which presents the latest innovations in military equipment, a prototype of a Russian robot dog with a grenade launcher was shown. There is almost no information about the M-81 complex yet. The Russian robot is assembled using Chinese technology and is not just an entertainment model.

Tests of the Russian robotic BMP-3 have begun. This is not a robot, the vehicle moves without a driver and gunner, the combat vehicle is controlled remotely by operators. This was done with the help of the Sinitsa combat module installed on the vehicle. Using the module, you can view the area 360 degrees, regardless of the time of day.

At the Army-2022 military equipment forum, a new Russian K-17 infantry fighting vehicle on the Boomerang platform was shown. The infantry fighting vehicle K-17 carried out training firing at targets from all types of weapons installed on it, except for the AG-17 grenade launcher. In particular, the fire was fired from 7.62 mm. machine gun PKTM, ATGM "Kornet" and 30-mm. automatic gun 2A42. In this version, the Berezhok combat module is installed on the BMP. The crew of the infantry fighting vehicle is three people, the vehicle is capable of carrying 8 troops. The BMP has many electronic systems that facilitate the work of the crew. Booking BMP multi-layered with ceramic content. YaMZ-780 engine, 750 hp allows you to accelerate on the highway to 100 to 100 km / h. The declared power reserve is up to 800 km.
