I asked about the Leo2a4 tank with the Altay Turret for you.

The modernization of 81 Leo2A4 tanks will be carried out by BMC.

BMC also proposed the Leo2A4 tank with Altay turret integrated, in addition to the SSB requests, for this modernization.
The main reason for this recommendation:
By using the Altay turret in Modernization, it was to ensure that the subsystems to be used in Altay were common in the Leo2A4 tank.
In this way, the logistics expenses of the force will be reduced in the coming years.
However, this solution is slightly more expensive than the current solution that SSB is asking for.

BMC has 2 Modernization Packages for the 81 Leopard 2A4s

- "LeoTay"
- Classic Modernization, which hasn't been shown yet.

Roketsan has one Modernization Package for 40 Leopard 2A4s

- ERA Armor Packages.

FNSS has likely one Modernization Package which is being prepared as seen a couple months ago.

- Likely together with ASELSAN.

OTOKAR hasn't respondent to SSB call.

FNSS + ASELSAN Leopard 2 NG-2 has been seen at target practice.

In summary, two different Leopard 2A4 modernization projects are being carried out by the SSB.

The first of the projects
includes the low-level modernization of 40 tanks in cooperation with Roketsan-ASELSAN. Currently, modernization seems to continue.
The second project
includes 81 + 256 tanks and has a much more comprehensive modernization plan. The main contractor of the second project will be either FNSS or BMC."

The guns of armored vehicles should be atleast 30mm it seems the nefer turret has that anything less than that is not effective. A Ukranian armored vehicle took out a tank using 30mm gun.
