Ceramic Additive Manufacturing Production Laboratory was established at Sivas Science and Technology University. At the center, it is aimed to manufacture ceramic materials with complex geometries and produce parts for jet-powered aircraft with 3D printers imported from France.

Good news but if we want to be really independent we should be able to make the machines for machines too. There are some good works on CNC machines with multiple axis and I hope we can see more similar examples in in different areas in the future.

Aselsan are working on 3D metal printers.

• An annual production of 1000 tons will be made
• 80 million dollar investment
• Employment of 279 people
• Annual revenue target of 35-40 million dollars
• The value chain of boron ore was completed with the facility
• The added value of processed boron increases from 300 times to 35 thousand times.
• It is used in the production of nuclear, metallurgical, automotive, wear-resistant mechanical parts, especially in the defense industry.
• Steps were taken for a new facility that will produce 5 thousand tons of annual production in Emet, Kütahya.
