Today, MIT's UAVs launched strikes against some YPG/PKK terrorist organization targets in northern Syria.

Two shots were fired at a factory/market called "Golden Rose" in the village of Kerbawi in the southwest of Qamishli.

Sukr Haji village in the countryside of Malikiye city

Looks like the US did a mistake and here is the response.

What kind of mistake would that be ?

To be honest I think We should do more to ensure that Kamisli/Qamisli is cleaned of terrorist and sympatizers than we're doing.

I read that the Russians in cooperation with the Syrians are building a huge militairy base in Ayn Al-Arab (Kobani) next to our border.

How will this benefit Turkey?

There are bilateral agreements with the US that are not announced to the media. Within these bilateral agreements basically there are boundaries that are defined by both States in order to ensure the safety of US and Turkish personnel and to keep a trend in de-escalation. Such an agreement may be violated by the US trough a weapons delivery, specific action or directive towards the SDF which is concerning for Turkiye. In this case we keep our right to respond by violating the de-escalation agreement by resuming our UCAV strikes on the east of Euphrates.

There is no other reason to why we stopped hitting targets there and allow SDF to function while we have all the power to do it. There is a certain level of escalation that is understandable.

This will benefit Turkiye in no way. My read of the situation is that the base is made in advance for the times when the YPG/PKK will transfer power to the Regime by putting Regime flags while keeping the YPG/PKK structure by just rebranding the forces in Ayn Al-Arab. The Russian base may serve as surveillance base, area task force HQ and a guarantee against possible Turkish operation in the area.

Wouldn't hitting arms delivery not be preferable action as less weapons would mean less tension. Surely the US would get the message. And if they insist on supplying from alternative routes we'd send a different message, like hitting oilfields.

We can't do nothing because for our enemies time is their ally.

Hitting at the exact moment arms delivery is done is a bit risky as there is most probably US personnel supervising the transfer procedure. Hitting weapons depots may be possible and I think we've done it in the past. By the way, we are not sure what is the action that aggravated our stance, so this is a speculation. There may be other reasons that we don't know of.

A bit of news.

According to Euphrates Post, a closed session meeting was held a between YPG leaders and Syrian regime officers under the supervision of Russian forces at the Russian base in Tel Semen in the northern countryside of Raqqa.

The meeting was held at the request of YPG/PKK leaders and was held in the region under the supervision of Russian forces. It was also claimed that Syrian regime officers requested that the YPG allow the establishment of a regime-affiliated security zone in the city of Tabqa, but the YPG rejected this request and will investigate the issue.

A couple days ago MIT's UCAVs carried out strikes against a headquarters used by YPG/PKK terrorists in Khazwan/Khizwan - Jebel Abdulaziz Mountain, 50 kilometers from the Turkish border and 20 kilometers from the front line.

The situation in Gaza is also carrying its effects in Syria. In order to escalate the situation for the PKK/YPG and the US, the Regime (probably according with IRGC's directives) supported tribal fighters to cross the Euphrates river in the area of Deir Ez-Zor and launch operations against the YPG/PKK. We knew that something is brewing there as YPG/PKK sent hundreds of fighters in the area from the south of Hasakah and Qamishly in order to reinforce the area where the oil fields are.

There is a serious tension between YPG/PKK and the Regime after the Regime arrested a highly positioned YPG/PKK figure in the Sheikh Maqsood neighbourhood in Aleppo (you can check the previous page). Along with tension in Aleppo and Deir Ez-Zor we know that the YPG/PKK took action against the Regime/NDF in Qamishly and Hasakah.

Meanwhile the tension in our areas is also rising. Yesterday a VBIED attack was carried out by the HRE/PKK (IRGC and Russia supported). Not only that, but right after the explosion the rescue teams were targeted in a "double tap" way by HRE/PKK or Regime artillery preventing the timely rescue operation.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Öncü Keçeli (PKK/YPG's so-called election):

There is no information that the so-called local elections have been cancelled. We are making every diplomatic effort to prevent the so-called elections from taking place. We are giving the necessary messages to all relevant legitimate parties.

@Saithan Maybe this is it.

Is it true that regime forces controlled an oil facility previously controlled by the PKK?

Nope. They couldn't advance so deep, but multiple accounts reported things like that. The reports are false.

BREAKING:

About an hour ago, cells affiliated with the IRGC and in direct coordination with the IRGC in eastern Syria, transported ammunition and weapons to their elements on the opposite bank of the Euphrates River (from west to east of the Euphrates River) as an indication that there will be a new escalation by these cells near the American forces and to target the SDF forces.

Clashes are expected to renew in the areas of Sha'itat, Baghuz, and other villages east of the Euphrates River.

The IRGC militia are employing a nefarious strategy by using these cells to exert pressure on the Americans. They are achieving this by escalating attacks against American bases and the SDF, who are the military partners of the Americans.

Thanks for keeping this thread updated. The situation in Syria is complex, and Turkey's involvement adds another layer. Looking forward to more insights and discussions on this.
