Belarus is to receive a second batch of four Su-30SM multirole fighters from the United Aircraft Corporation in October 2022, according to the press service of the country’s MoD. Over the past five years, more than 450 pieces of equipment have been adopted by the Belarusian Army, with over 250 having been overhauled and modernised. As reported by the MoD press service, among the new samples and sets of weapons being purchased are:
  • eight Yak-130 combat training aircraft
  • 12 Mi-8 helicopters
  • unspecified numbers of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems
  • various unmanned aerial systems
  • modern communications and navigation
  • radar stations
  • small arms and protective equipment
  • the locally made POLONAISE multiple launch rocket systems.
