GAZA – Executive Committee of the Liberation Organization Palestine (PLO) condemned the recently signed defense agreement between Israel and Morocco . This agreement sets the stage for future cooperation on security, intelligence sharing and arms sales.

“This agreement differs from what was stipulated in the Arab League summit, the Arab consensus and the Arab peace initiative,” the statement added. The PLO Executive Committee also stressed that the agreement is dangerous for Arab national security and for the interests of the Arab nation.

Meanwhile, the president of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Ahmad Al-Raysuni, has also strongly criticized Moroccan-Israeli relations. “Morocco is currently at a crossroads. Morocco’s relations with the Zionist enemy are not what we said a year ago, but only the recognition of the usurper state in exchange for the US recognition of Moroccan sovereignty over its territory,” he stressed. -Raysuni.
