Its just one week till Christmas. Merry Christmas to all that read this.

People are generally in good spirits around this time. One of my roommate is quite interesting, he's an American. Asked him whether he is excited for Christmas and he replies not as much because he doesn't believe in the religion even though he was raised Christian. I said that even though I'm not a Christian, I love the atmosphere when Christmas arrives, the lights, the decoration, the anticipation of New Year, not as much work, etc. He has the same attitude about Thanksgiving and he talked about how it's just an American thing with some negative relation towards the Native Americans. He's also a bit of an introvert and doesn't involve himself much with the rest of us.

But I hate the cold in December and Jan. Reminds me a bit of Diwali, except the noise and the cold.
