Regime forces are thought to have been killed or injured in Shwegu Township, Kachin State on Wednesday when Myo Hla People’s Defense Forces used 107-mm rocket bombs to attack a military flotilla of nine vessels traveling on the Irrawaddy River, said the resistance group.
Two vessels were hit in the attacks.

Video: Junta suffers heavy losses in Karen

Fifteen junta troops including a major as well as two resistance fighters were killed in an intense clash in Myawaddy Township, Karen State on Tuesday when the junta attempted to take back its base on Lat Khat Taung mountain, said Cobra Column.
People’s Defense Force groups and the Karen National Liberation Army, the armed wing of the Karen National Union, jointly attacked and seized the junta base on July 21.
Since then, the junta has made several attempts to retake its base.
