Mykolayiv Shipyard ends up overhaul of two ships for Ukrainian Navy

On July 30, at the Mykolayiv Shipyard, which is a part of the Ukroboronprom State Concern, the "Genichesk" harbor minesweeper and the "Pryluky" missile boat of Naval forces of the Ukraine's Armed Forces were floated out after a dock repair.

Within three months, the specialists of the shipyard restored the outer skin, propeller-steering complex, power plants, mechanisms, etc.

The repair of warships was performed in the frameworks of a contract with Ukraine's Defense Ministry, all works were completed in time.

"Due to the high professionalism and coordination of actions of employees of our company, the task was performed efficiently and in a timely manner. The Mykolayiv plant will continue working to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities," Vadym Chaban said, head of Ukroboronprom's shipbuilding and marine hardware department.

Earlier it was reported that The Genichesk and The Pryluky ships entered the water area of the Mykolayiv Shipyard on April 1, 2021. Three bridges in Mykolaiv were temporarily raised for the harbor minesweepers to be able to get to the docks.
